  • home education???

My daughter will be 3 this year and supposed to be starting nursery in september. However, I have my concerns. I know every mother thinks that their child is a genius but I honestly think that she is advanced for her age. I'm worried that nursery will hold her back, well the ones that I visited tend to be all about free play.

I'm not a pushy mum but do believe if there's enjoyment in a subject there's no harm in encouraging development.

Does anyone else have experience of home schooling?

What are your opinions of home education?

  • Premature Babies???

I'm 29 weeks pregnant and last week my hind waters broke and I went into early stages of labour. I had alsorts of meds and steroids for the babies lungs etc. Now on antibiotics. The whole thing has left me dazed and confused. I'm totally paranoid about the baby coming early, not knowing if i'm in labour....

Concerned that with every step i take I could break my waters fully. Everytime I sneeze and my tummy contracts...argh!!!

Has anyone else been through this?

  • VBAC??? Any advice or experiences to share?

I had a c-section with my first almost 3 years ago. She was breech and because I have problems with my hip I was advised it was the best course of action.

I'm 28 weeks and need to start thinking about my options. I could have an elective c-section which I admit is my favourite option or I could opt for a Trial of Scar with vaginal birth. The outcome being either a 'normal' delivery or an emergency c-section.

I'm still having problems with my hip and currently having hydrotherapy to keep me mobile, although this time the baby is already head down and in the correct position...

I'm hoping to hear from people who are either facing the same decision, have experienced VBAC or had a second c-section. Comfort and reassurance needed please! :-)
