My bike from the late 1980's small dual purpose is in dire need of a front & lighter rim, currently has the old chrome type and it needs to go and not want to put the same type again, it uses the old shoe brake drum style at 36 holes. New rim is 32 Holes so what I want to know is when lacing a 32 hole rim to a 36 hole brake drum is there a configuration to keep it fairly even and balanced? I figure...mmm So --4 spokes would be -2 from the right side of drum pointing North and South and the other 2 from the left side of drum pointing East and West?

The upgrade rim will still have its full and complete 32 holes spoked/laced in so figure it will roll good. So any info to go about this guys that have done such work and or know about lacing spokes Please send your replies. I love my bike and it's vintage my daily ride to work.

The owner of the apartment I rent always sends an old handyman to fix things but I am not satisfied with the work and he is messy and does not pay attention to my concerns as a tenant (my wife does not like him either and all the other tenants in the same building do not like him for the same reasons.

So do I have the right to choose another handyman or contractor or it is solely the landlord choice.

I am the one paying and living in the apartment. Please help.

I had an engineer do some work measurements for a project of mine, He sent me the files and I paid him then I had the parts 3D printed and did not match the originals I told them to fix the mistakes and he did but now he is charging me over $500 almost a year after when I asked him about picking up the original parts of mine that I left about a year ago in his office.

So all this time he did not sent any bill nor e-mail no nothing Just when I suddenly mailed about picking up my parts that's when he tells me a I have an outstanding bill of $$$ (Is he taking advantage?)

What can I do, do I pay him, how do I resolve this with the law, I have no lawyer. What can I do.

Is it ok to pay for mistakes?

b)machine the connecting rod at the lower part, where the pin is driven thru?

Had the crank seals changed about 5 mos ago.

Applied for a new card that offer me a 0% apr for 1rst 6 months there after it's 14.99% variable. figure I buy time and transfer for less than 2k

There is a small leak on the in take spacer and reed valve, what can I do when I replace the gaskets so no air leaks.
