  • I have been given 48 hours in jail this weekend, but what happens if I miss it?

I was sentenced to serve 2 days in jail, and I was allowed to pick which 2 days. This is my own stupid fault, but not paying attention to my calendar I accidentally asked to go in this weekend instead of the next. I've tried to reschedule but I can't, and I have a lot going on this weekend. Does anyone know what happens if I miss it?

  • What song is this?

It goes something like, "becasue you are god, and I am not so I just thought that you would know" That's all I remember from it but thats the chorus part.

  • Do I need to file taxes?

I only made 1200$ in 2007 and it says if your underage, which I was in 2007 if you make less than $5000 something you don't need to file. I haven't filed yet, which I know is bad, but do I need to file or not? The last thing I was is the IRS knocking at my door. :)

  • Applying for Local Apartment Rental, what are the chances I will get approved?

I'm applying for an apartment. I understand I must make 3 times the rent, and have rental history in order to qualify. I meet neither of these qualifications. However, I will have 2 underage roommate, both who hold jobs, (we've all been kicked out) and are good kids. Combined we make 3 times the rent, and split three ways the rent would be easy, also since all utilities are paid. Also, as far as no rental history goes, my roommates older brother is Co-Signing for me, so can anyone tell me if it is possible that I will get the apartment? Or is there anything else you need to know about this renting situation that would help to answer my question better? Help much appreciated thanks :)

  • Filed for Taxes today, what about stimulus check?

I filed late (obviously) and should I have filed on time I would have got only 80$ dollars back, because I didn't work that much in 2007. I was wondering are they going to still give me my rebate? And does this mean i miss the Stimulus Checks, or would I have even gotten a stimulus check in the first place? Any help much appreciated.

  • How do I rent an apartment?

I understand you have to go into the property management and apply, usually along with a fee, but I'm barely 18, and I have been kicked out of my house and desperately need a place to move into soon. I don't qualify for any set monthly rental, because I need to make 3 times the rent. I make roughly 600$ a month. It's not much, but I am on the streets. I don't like the idea of it, but how does section 8 housing work? Am I old enough? And if not section 8 how do I apply for low income apartments? I have found some listing that said 30% of income as applicable by HUD. I'm I eligible for those? Or am I eligible for any apartments? Any help is much appreciated guys, thanks so much.

  • How many barrels of oil are available (total, tapped into and untapped) in Alaska? (Please provide a source)?

I've heard anything from 'there is enough oil to last 50 years', to 'not enough to last us one'. I'd like to know how many years of oil alaska could provide us with, or how many barrels it could produce TOTAL. Thanks for your help, and plase provide your sources as anybody can say Alaska has enough oil to last for the next 100 years. Again Thanks.
