Ok so I am applying for a Chinese Scholarship Program for a PhD. What I really want is to study Aeronautical Engineering or Space Systems Engineering but my masters degree is in Computer Science - Software Engineering. What do you think my chances are of being accepted as a student in a different subject than the one I majored in ? Yes I already asked if I can apply to any major I want and they said ok. Did anyone go through a similar experience ? Thanks

I would like to study at St Andrews University, Scotland at an undergraduate level, but I dont understand what other requirements or qualifications i need to get in, besides an english certificate. (I am from Romania)

She is the most beautiful lady I have ever seen. When I say lady I really mean lady, she is about 30, very nice, I am only 16. I first met her 2 years ago when i had my first english language lesson Since then, I thought about her every day and even dreamed about her. I tried going out with girls my age and had 2 girlfriends but it didn't work, i love her too much. I live in europe, it's not important which country. I can also say that she smokes cigarettes, they have this special place in the teacher's lounge for smoking, and one day a teacher of mine said I can find her there if I want. This put my mind to work. I thought that if she was smoking, this meant her life was a mess. Her husband made her life bad and it's also possible that her professional and sex life are just as worse. I just want her to be happy whoever she's with. In class we talk a lot mainly to improve our class' english but I also try out jokes and sometimes even get a touch of flirting going on.

I have a computer running aLinux (a linux OS derived from SuSE) and my friend has WinXP SP2. We have a networking cards and when i had windows running on my computer the network worked. Now i have linux and am trying to make a network with him. I don't know how to configure the ethernet card to work. The lights in the back of the computer... where the cables connect are on so the connection is active... just need help with configuring the eth thing on my linux...
