My friend and I are going to make candy for the holidays and she mentioned it.

I am making glazed carrots tonight, and I was thinking I would boil them until mostly done, then add some butter and brown sugar and fry them for a few minutes.....I also thought I would add a splash of OJ to this........does this sound good, or would it throw the flavor off?

Other recommendations for glazed carrots (that DO NOT include honey) are welcome.

I bought cream and bread crumbs to make it with....so I am looking for a recipe that uses those ingredients if possible

I am making fresh green beans with bacon, do I cook the bacon first? I also want to add some onion.

My idea is that I would chop the bacon and onion and fry, drain the fat and then mix with the beans. Then would I boil or bake....if I bake do I need to add butter, or can I use the bacon fat with out making the beans greasy?

The other side I'm making is new baby potatoes, do I boil them, and then put them in the oven with butter, or do they not need boiled at all.....should I add any seasonings?

If there is any way to make either of these dishes on the grill that would be great too as I'm having them with steak, but being super yummy is my first concern.

I have twice baked potatoes and stuffed mushrooms....the kind you get at the meat counter....and I want to make them on the grill with the steaks.

Should I wrap them in foil, or just set them in the foil and leave open.....and what do you think, top shelf....10-15?

My boyfriend and I are thinking of relocating to Houston from the midwest and I am wondering what part I would want to live, and what parts I would want to avoid.

I have AVG 8.0 on my computer and it won't update, I turned off the automatic updates and now that there is an update that I need to stay protected it won't let me download it even manually. It says that CTP connection failed....what can I do, or is there a good, safe, free alternative?

I have gone on several interviews, including several second interviews, but am not getting offered the jobs. What could I be doing wrong? I suspect that it is the why are leaving question. I try to say I am not challanged. Is there something else I could say that might sound better?

Please help, I have another second interview today and really need to get out of my current job. I hate it so much here and am afraid I will quit with out a replacement job lined up if I don't find something soon.

Just wondering if anyone had any experiance with going through the process and any tips would be greatly appreciated.

I am making 2 stuffed pock chops. I plan on baking them in a covered dish with mushroom soup @ 350*. How long do they need to cook to be well done.
