I see in the market that laser printers' cost get cheaper and closer to the inkjets. I think about buying a laser printer but I want to now if it is a cost effective in terms of cartridge and ink price.

Did anyone used both laser and inkjet to compare the ongoing costs?

I don't use my car in winter. I am planning to save on gas. Should I take it for a ride regulary for maintenance purpose and to keep the battery up or just warming it twice a week while it is in the same place will do the job? I don't want to spend money but I don't want it to brake down for not being used. any body have advice with maintaining a parking car?

For localities like city agency who deal with contractors, can they have a lump-sum budget, I mean without detailed lines especially for salaries? what govern the budget requirement or standards?

I am asking that because a contractor has ask my employer, a local government, that they cancel the budget lines and have a lump sum budget and let the details at the end of the year. Is there any rule, directives that prevent that?

I was walking in a mall in NJ where I saw a sweepstake for a car. I put my details and they called me to say that I win a 500$ gift card and timeshare vacation.

I went to their office in new jersey and after long hour talk, I find myself signing a non-cancellable contract with them and I have to pay for $2500 and $300 yearly fees for the timeshare vacation that I never wanted. They have good way in interviewing that you find yourself misled and you cannot cancel the contract. Does this happen to anyone before?

I moved lately in brooklyn, and I was surprised that buildings shut the heat at night around 11:pm and start it back at 5:00 AM.

When I asked the management they said that they comply with laws because the apartment should be warm in the morning because of old and children. Don't we need heat at night more that in the morning?

Does that happen to anyone? Do you depend on electrical heat or you complain?

we are five in the office and you know sometime you send an excel file to someone who update it in his computer or in the outlook folder but the others don't have the updated copies. sometimes you work with a file you think that it is the latest which is not

1)how do you keep track of change if different copies are with many users.

2) Do you name the file certain way to know the last version?

Microsoft street and trips, how good with gps cellphones/pda?

I want to buy an hp6515 and install a gps software.

Most people that I asked bought co-pilot or tomtom as gps software ecc. each cost more that $200

did anybody try Microsoft streets in his pda/smartphone? why not if it costs about $24.

Hi I need a friend's advice. I went to graduate school but no more, they will think i am the professor. I worked part-time, but no more, they like to hire 18's year-old people.
