Since her Mom is a career woman and hasn't had time to teach her any cooking skills, I thought it might help both of them if I could come up with some easy recipes that are nutritious and taste good that a child of 9 could easily master. Ami is very intelligent and responsible. She is a latchkey kid, in spite of our repeated offers to stay with her after school, which her mother continues to resist. If she could learn to cook some things so dinner would be ready, at least some days, when her mother gets home from work, I think it might improve her home life somewhat. Any recipes welcome, as long as a nine year old could prepare them from stuff normally found in a well-stocked cupboard. Thanks in advance.
