Was tun bei einem aggressiven Nachbarn? Er kommt desöfteren völlig betrunken nach Hause, spielt bis 4 Uhr früh laute Musik (teilweise Death Metall oder Nazi-********, nicht genau zu identifizieren), und brüllt seinen Hass auf die Welt und die Nachbarn hinaus. Die Musik wäre evtl. auszuhalten, aber das Brüllen (teilweise war eindeutig meine Freundin gemeint, z.B. wegen "Schritten auf dem Boden") geht finde ich zu weit. Zumal der Mensch im angetrunkenen Zustand ja unberechenbar ist, und da er evtl. dem rechten Umfelt entstammt, weiss man auch nicht, zu welchem Unfug er noch fähig ist. Meine Freundin wohnt dort alleine und lebt wirklich teilweise in Angst und Schrecken. Dir Tür hält auch nichts aus, d.h. der Nachbar könnte jederzeit eindringen. Bei anderen Nachbarn stand er auch schon vor der Tür, die haben dann die Polizei gerufen (sind inzwischen ausgezogen).

I would like to be able to test my web pages in both IE 6 and IE 7, and I have heard the easiest way is to use Virtual PC to have a second Windows installation. Virtual PC is free, but will it be possible to install the same Windows on it that I already use, or would I have to buy another license?

I have set border, margin and padding to 0 on both the iframe and the body of the web page it contains. Yet IE 7 displays an inner border left and top, which bites away from the available width and height. How can I get rid of that border?

I haven't tested on IE 6, but I suppose it will be the same problem...

Angenommen ich habe eine Tabelle wie diese:

Und ich will in der Spalte X jeweils die Summe der Zeilen (ab der 2. Zeile) haben, wobei jeder Wert jeweils mit dem Wert der 1. Zeile multipliziert wird. Wie macht man sowas? (Also Beispiel, in X2 müsste der Wert A1*A2+B1*B2+... stehen).

Vom Studium abgesehen, das auch eine Weile dauern kann: Bezahlung während des zweijährigen Referendariats unterhalb der Armutsgrenze (d.h. Ausnützung der finanzierenden Eltern). Danach wahrscheinlicher Bruch der Lebensumstände, da Job evtl. Ortswechsel erzwingt. Dann extrem schlechte Bezahlung - vor allem wenn man eine doppelverdienende Familie ansetzt, und die Steuerersparniss verrechnet, die im Vergleich eine Familie mit Alleinverdiener hätte. Unterm Strich arbeiten Grundschullehrer fast für umsonst, ist mein Eindruck - und dafür muss man dann womöglich noch an einen unliebsamen Ort ziehen?

Ist Grundschullehrerin demnach nur ein Luxusjob für Ehefrauen, damit sie sich zuhause nicht langweilen? Muss man den Staat wirklich in dieser Ausbeutung unterstützen, oder gibt es bessere Alternativen, wenn man die Ausbildung schon hat? Evtl. besser eherenamtliche Arbeit?

What are the skills that are worth the most? How much does better marketing help? I am a freelancer and I am doing fine, but I wonder what one could do with some dedication.

I am freelancing, so it is about projects. One client might give me the go tomorrow, but an interview with another client is due on the following day, which might be for a more interesting project. How (if at all) can I best tell the first client that I would like to wait for the results of the second interview, before sealing the deal?

Apart from drawing UML diagrams, what other techniques are there? What is it all about?

My dentist is angry with me if I don't floss. However, I don't feel to sure about it. I feel like my gum might be receeding from flossing. Also a colleague told me that one might permanently damage the gum by scarring it. Another colleague claims he lost a teeth due to flossing, because he pushed some food under the gum.

It just seems slightly weird. The dental industry has a lot of money and good experience with marketing. Perhaps they just want to sell floss?

Are there longterm studies proving the benefits of flossing?

I guess I am mostly into mathematics, computer science, economics, artificial intelligence, evolution.
