The car hesitates and lurches on acceleration. It is particularly bad when going round long bends such as traffic islands. It feels like the fuel isn't delivering properly. I have had the engine management system checked and there is not a misfire or any other issue showing on the log. Has anybody experienced the same jerky drive?

I have just read that the Highway Code (UK) has changed and has introduced new codes of practice for driving. Does this mean that it would now be an offence to smoke in a car? I'm normally quite good at understanding the point an advertisement is trying to make but the new Ford Mondeo one baffles me. If you haven’t seen it it's a really good ad but I just don’t get it. In the ad people are tying balloons to their cars and watching them float off. A chap is doing the same when a Mondeo comes down the road which he looks at dreamily but still continues to float his car off attached to some balloons. What is it supposed to mean?
