  • Are the Republicans jealous of the just the Democrats being called wimps?

Why in the world would they even dream of skipping the CNN/youtube debate? I wasn't surprised when the Dems dodged Fox news but I figured the Reps had sterner stuff. Shout out to McCain, Paul, and Thompson for having guts enough to tread untested waters.

  • What can be expected from Six Flags stock after that accident?

I have some stock and Yahoo projects an 8 dollar price in a year. But I am sure an impending lawsuit is coming from what happened to that poor girl. Is that going to cause a fall in its price or will insurance offset what the park will have to pay out. Basically is this the time to sell or should I hold for a while?

  • Is anyone else disgusted by this whole Paris Hilton affair?

I have just watched a farce of a news confrence with some dimwit yelling if Paris was hot when she was sentenced. I am seeing people estatic over someone crying and in handcuffs. I am seeing people mocking her near break down after being sentenced. I saw were the photo seekers just about got ran over while trying to get her to jail.

I understand and want punishment for crime but murderers are getting better treatment. I am not a Paris fan but these entire episode is just sad to watch. Last I will say on the subject.

  • Is the middle class ignored?

I normally disagree with Senator Schumer on most everything. However I heard his interview with Colbert the other day and he said something that I felt was very true. Paraphrased. he said the republicans were courting the rich and the democrats were courting the poor and the middle class was left out and no one was looking out for them.

True, not word for word (couldn't find the interview on youtube) but it was the gist of what he said and there is truth in this. Has the middle class become passe in the political spectrum?

  • How many bass can be in one spot?

I have always been under the impression only one bass will be in a certain area and was just wondering if this was true. Went fishing the other day and am wondering if I missed some from moving from my spots too soon.

I was fishing a creek and hitting stumps, cliff walls and fallen trees.

  • What is the difference between a royal and regular jury?

I saw something on Diana the other day and heard the news mention they were doing a regular jury inquest and not a royal jury. I am wondering what the difference is and what role does each have.

  • Drinking with parents/kids?

Got to thinking of this. I recently opened a beer in front of my dad which quickly led to an argument of epic perportions. I tried to point out to my dad that I am 36 and a bit over the age of concent. He pointed out he didn't care and threatened to spank me. Anyway, looking at my son now I am thinking I will probably respond the same way of the situation arises.

So my question is what are the ethics on partying with your parents or kids. My dad threw me a curve and did a surprise visit otherwise I probably would have never opened a beer in front of him. I could never see myself drinking with my son. But I know of people who actually do just that.

10 points to the most thought provoking answer. I put it here because I think this is an ethical question.

  • What could have and should have happened to Foley?

I was just thinking that he is an elected official so he cannot be fired, he has to be impeached or recalled. I know people are talking about Hester but really, what could the leadership have done. Some dems had to know this was going on, what should they have done?

I view this scandel as a black mark on all of congress. But honestly what could have been done to Foley besides impeachment to get him either under control, away from the pages, or just plain out of congress? I am not too familiar with how disciplinary actions happen in the legislative branch.

  • For the anti-public school crowd?

I have seen many post and oppinions from people who do not think it is the government's job to provide education, but I haven't really heard solutions. So my question is what is the alternative solution to our educational needs? Are alternatives feasable to give a chance for education to all in our country?

  • Voting for a loser?

I was hanging around the courthouse listening to the election results and was in a discussion with some people there. I found out some of these people voted for the worst candidate because they felt sorry for them and wanted them to have some votes. I would never do this myself because if enough people did this then a nimrod could get elected.

So have any of yall voted for a candidate because you knew they would lose and why did you vote that way?

  • Stock tips by e-mail?

I am subscribed to newsmax's email alerts. From time to time they send stock tips but they seem to be an advertised stock from some firm. Also I get unsolicited e-mails from time to time on AOL with stock tips that seem more like advertisements. Are these worth serious concideration for investment and do these types of tips actually pay off?

  • What happened to Gaza?

I mean we keep hearing about Lebanon now, how about Gaza where it all started to flare up. Isn't there still an Israeli soldier being held captive there and Israeli troops as well? Anything new happening there? I don't think the world needs to forget that is going on as well.

  • What has Bush done to help/hurt you personally?

I read an aswer where someone said a Bush policy made them lose their job. That got me to thinking of the partisan answers on Yahoo and I realized that his presidency has not really impacted my life. I have benifited from the tax cuts somewhat and I suppose an arguement could be made on oil prices. But over all my standard of living has not changed.

So my question is basically how has his policies effected you and the way you live?

  • What is the equation to graph a spiral?

I know there are equations to graph circles, hyperbolas, parabolas, and others, but I have never seen an equation for a spiral shape on a graph.
