Okay, not a question, but I wanted everyone to know that my WMR updated to: Your tax refund is scheduled to be direct deposited on January 30, 2012. If your refund is not credited to your account by February 4, 2012, check with your bank to find out if it has been received. Please wait until February 4, 2012 before you contact us again because we are unable to take any action until then.

I filed on 1/14, accepted on 1/16, Up until yesterday I had a received by date of 1/31, Filed Thru Taxbrain, had fees taken out thru SBBT, there website orginally showed an anticpated date of 1/25 my tax return had a DCN number. I think that covers it all. Any questions, let me know.

Just got off the phone with a Santa Barbara Tax rep. I spoke w/Ann, she gave me her id# but I didnt write it down. I asked her to verify my deposit date, she said , she doesn't see the money in transit, but they are still anticpating the deposit date of 1/25. I asked her, if it was going to be deposited tomorrow, wouldn't you see it today? She said, depending upon where your money is going, depends on when they will see the money. There are different banking rules. If it's going to a card, they will receive it up to 48 hrs prior to the deposit date, but if it's going to a bank account, the deposit usually occurs on the same day they receive it. She said Wedenesday is the IRS's "big bank" day and that's when they release the majority of the funds for accounts and to call back tomorrow or check the website later today, because they do real-time updates. She then asked if I received an email stating my date has been amended, etc.. I told her no.. She said, well that's a good indication. I don't really beleive what she was saying, because how would the IRS know where the money is being deposited too after it leaves SBBT? Therefore, what she is saying about the banking rules of deposit wouldn't apply to the deposit from the IRS, because it is going directly to an account and not a bank card or something? I think she wanted to help but her hands were tied, any thoughts on this?? Just an FYI.. I still have the generic date of 1/31 when I called the WMR hotline... In prior years, WMR never updated for me until after the deposit was made.

I am going to call first thing in the morning when we open up, but without my laptop I can't do any work, the thing is, I just started working there about 6 weeks ago. The good thing is my laptop was a used laptop. I am thinking that since they have hundreds of telecommuters working for them, that they may be use to this and worst case, they will deduct it from my check. Should I be too worried?

To make a long story short, my boyfriends parents show up un announced and they won't leave. He is off working and I am stuck with them again. I already spent money, that I didn't budjet to spend on extra food and other items and now its Memorial Day and they won't leave. They are very disrespectful towards me and I think I am going to lose it. This is not their son's home, its our home. We pay the mortage, taxes, insurance, etc.. Not him. I am tired of hearing that its his home and he is going to do this or that. On the flip side, I am tired of him allowing them to do this. For example, I am planting a garden in our yard, now she (his mother) wants somewhere in the yard to plant and keeps saying its her garden, his house, I am going to lose it. So, how can I tell them to leave? Please keep in mind they come every other weekend, when is enough enough. Not just on holidays and I have been more then patient and kind to them, but I need a day off .
