Dying is not easy?
My elderly mom wants to put in her living wil that an old boyfriend of mine will be included in her will. He has been more like a son and is always helping her with all kinds of things out of the goodness of his heart. My brother disagrees that he should be included in the will. He thinks that only family should be included. He has threatened my mom that if she includes this old friend in her will, then she should take my brother out of the will. I think my brother is being childish, as he always is and has ALWAYS been. My brother does not mind giving our friend the money but feels he should not be included in the will because he is NOT family.
I think my friend deserves to be recognized in the will. He has done so much for our mom, more than my younger brother or I ever have.. If my mom thinks he should be mentioned in her will, then we should respect her wishes. What do you all think?

Does the city have regulations or parameters on how much noise from the children makes in a daycare in a residential setting? Are they restricted to certain hours to come outside on the compund? What rights do the neighbors have in noise coming from the daycare?
2 AnswersSmall Business1 decade agoI really need real help with this - Are these things considered separate or community property?
Before I came to the U.S. to be with my then boyfriend and now soon-to-be divorced spouse, I sold all my stuff (furniture, cookware, etc.) in my homeland. That was 20 years ago. He, on the other hand, had all his furniture brought in from Canada to the U.S.. So, we set up home and used his stuff ( sofa, dining table, utensils, etc). Now that we are divorcing after 20 years, he claims that the furnitutre and other stuff he had previous to our marriage is his and is considered separate property. So, now I am left with nada. I think that what he is claiming may be wrong. I have googled this to no avail. Do you think that since he co-mingled his stuff for him, myself and our child to use, it would be considered community property? If anyone of you have had experience with this, please answer this question. Thanks!
13 AnswersMarriage & Divorce1 decade agoShould I cut them up and bury them to forget the ties?
I am going through a divorce. My ex and I share a few friends from the past who still want to remain both our friends. Recently, I have been thinking of severing my friendship ties with them because of the hostily that my ex has shown me in this divorce. At this moment, I cannot see myself in the future being friends with my ex whom I once loved and trusted. He tried to trample me down in the worst possible way because of money. I cannot forget or forgive my ex for locking me out of our home and taking our child away from me. I had to go to court to contest this and won.
These people are nice and have been friends for almost 20 years. They have come to my aid and helped me through with their support; they see that what my ex did was bad but they still intend to remain friends with him. ~Can I continue to be friends with people whom I know are choosing to remain friends with my ex without feeling upset?
18 AnswersMarriage & Divorce1 decade agoI am undergoing a lot of stress in my life. Please help suggest things I can do to stop waking up early.?
I am waking up at about 4 am daily where it seems the flood gates open with worries . My mind is filled with thoughts about the stress of my divorce. My wake-up time is 6am and by the time I try to fall back to sleep, its time to get up. I have tried meditation, yoga, heavy exercise and deep breathing.
