  • Unlocked blackberry bold with t-mobile...does the internet work?

Does anyone have an unlocked blackberry bold using t-mobile? I was told the internet (using 3G) will not work with t-mobile. Are you having these problems? I do not want to buy the phone if the 3g doesn't work with t-mobile.

I'm a 20 year old female that just started my first job. The proper attire is business casual. Can I wear like polo shirts (girls of course) to work? • Physics Question!!?

When an empty test tube is held slantingly in a beaker of water and viewed from above, the bottom of the test tube seems to be filled with mercury or a similar shiny liquid. If you repeat with the test tube filled with water, the mercury or shiny liquid disappear. Explain why.

    Also....

If a plane mirror is hung on the wall and you are standing in front of it, then when you move towards or away from the mirror it does not affect how much of yourself you see (only a smaller or larger version of the same parts). Also, the wall or other objects behind you is affected differently. More of the rear wall can be seen the closer you are to the mirror but less when you are further away. Explain this difference.

If you can help me with these two questions, I'll give you 10 points!!

  • Fight Club Quesion! PLEASE HELP!?

What is the role of death in this novel? Where is it discussed or implied? Who talks about death? What do they say? What does it mean?

I know that the nameless character talks a lot about death (death on a businesstrip, and etc.). Also, I know that the characters get an identity or are given names when they die (i.e. Robert Pulson, nameless character doesn't have a name). What does this say about death??

  • Statistics question! Points if you can help me!?

I was working on my stat homework and encountered a problem that i have no idea how to do...please help!

The answer is .0744, but i don't know why. Here's the question:

Based on historical data, the probability that an ‘indie’ film will make a profit is 0.7. (Otherwise, naturally, it loses money.) Before releasing a film for distribution, a distributor can do a test screening to determine audience reaction, which is simply classified as being ‘favorable’ or ‘unfavorable.’ For films that have made a profit, the test screening results in a favorable reaction 80% of the time. For films that have lost money, the test screening results in a favorable reaction 15% of the time.

A test screening is done on a new film and the result is favorable. Taking this into account, what is the probability that this film will NOT make a profit?
