I am looking into investing. This would be my first time doing this and would like some advice. What do I look for? How do I get started? And any other information that you feel that would be helpful to me please tell me. :) It would be very thankful! Are there any good books about first time investing?? If so please let me know! I have looked on many sites but need more sites to look up. I am looking for photography contests that have $0.00 entry fee. I need free entry sites. I have found a few but more sites have an entry fee $$ And I am only a beginner/amature photographer so I don't think I should be paying a bunch of money to enter. Anyways If you know of any good websites out there let me know!

I have a Nikon D3000 DSLR camera. And the type of memory card I use is a SanDisk Extreme 30MB/s* 4GB SDhc Memory Card. For my computer I use a basic Gateway Netbook. Here is the problem. In this laptop I can't create CD's to load my pictures on it. In fact you can't put any CD in because It doesn't allow that. I want to save my edited pictures back on my memory card...Is this possible? In the computer I saved my edited pics on the desktop and dragged it to the file and it appears in the file but not on my camera when I put the memory card back in. I want to be able to print off my pictures at a camera place so how can I do this? Should I get one of those thumb drives that can plug right into the USB thing?? If so how does this work and would I need to transfer those pictures on the drive to a cd so I can take to oh say Walgreen's, Walmart or even Costco to have them print off? Please HELP! I am not that into computers so I am confused in this department. =(

I can't afford Photoshop at the moment but I need something similar for photo editing. I have heard of a site called GIMP, but I need to right website so I can download this. I don't want to download a bad one that can cause viruses and spam on my computer so could you please help? Also if you know of any other good downloads I could use that will help too. :) I have a Nikon D3000 and want to start a career in photography. I just want something to start out with on helping me edit my photos. Photoshop Lightroom will come later.

I just finished watching True Blood second season and LOVE IT. I would like to find some more shows like this. Ones that have the first season on DVD out already would be nice. But I need more options. I am interested in Weeds and maybe Entourage but what else is out there? I have seen The Office. I would like to find more HBO, Showtime series...Any good ones? I am almost 21 years old and need to tone up a little but other then that I have interesting facial features and am 5'10". I am trying to look for a modeling agency in Portland Oregon but don't want to get scammed. If you have experience in modeling and would be so kind to help me and give advice I would appreciate it a lot. What do I need to look for and watch out for when scouting out agencies? And how should I dress when meeting for the first time? Should I just look for a photographer first to have some pictures taken and build a book to show the agencies? Or should I stop by and say "Make me a model?" hehe I would like to hear your advice!

The song is called "time" by Flanders. But the question is who does the remix!? Its on XM Sirius Satellite radio station called BPM which plays electronic/dance music. I have found the song on youtube but its not the remix which is played on BPM and Im hoping to find out because this is my favorite remix of this song. PLEASE HELP!

i am going to join the navy...and i am hoping to get into mass communications and be a photographer...i have to go and take classes and such but i want to know your advice on this...has anyone done this???tell me everything about it!

So I am currently studying to take the ASVAB. I want to join the NAVY! so i want to make sure I get a high score...For thoughs who have taken this tes please tell me how long did it take. Did you take the computer or paper test...For the math sections can you use a calculator??? And say you are taking the test and you dont finish all the questions in one section...does this lower your score? Please all information will help. Anybody who took this test please help!

I need any information about the navy...I am already doing research but I want people who have served or are still in the navy to give me advice about what boot camp was like. what are you trained in....just tell me what life is like in the Navy. Okay. So this is my first game out of guitar hero and I just got it today lol. Since Im kinda new to this whole awesome thing. I was wondering, and sorry this sounds like a stupid question but how does the guitar turn off? Its a wireless guitar so if thats of any help.....

Im just curious cause if I leave it alon for a minute it goes in standby mode but if I push one of the keys it turns on cause a little red light starts flashing....

Okay, so im interested in becoming a freelance photographer. However I have no experience. Im wanting to go to college on it. But can someone with experience please tell me what supplies and type of camera would be needed? Im thinking of wanting to photograph wildlife pics and animal pics for magazines. Or storms and such...I really don't know though. This is all an idea. I love art and think that this would be a great way to express myself through photography. But yhea If you could tell me what type of camera would be best and maybe if there's any computer programs to....

okay, so im really needing some help with finding a womans health clinic in the gresham area of oregon. if you could reccomend one that would be great. especailly since right now im unemployed so a clinic that offers free help to woman like me would be great. i really need other womans advice or recomendation to any clinics that you have been too.
