How can I get Dragon Naturally Speaking v11 Home Edition to not close programs whenever I say the word "close"?
When I narrate with Dragon, I sometimes pause after saying the word "close" and *BOOM* My browser closes and wipes out whatever I was working on. It's incredibly frustrating. It's not like "close" is a rarely used word. Is there a way to disable that functionality entirely? I don't need Dragon to close my browser EVER, and I really hate it when it does it without even asking me if I'm sure. BTW, Dragon won't do it if I don't pause after saying "close" - but telling me to talk faster isn't a very good solution. I speak slowly most of the time.
2 AnswersSoftware9 years agoCan Catholics Vote for Pro-Choice Candidates?
Is it a sin (or other religious offense) for Catholics to vote for candidates who are pro-choice? I know that the church opposes abortion. But has the Church ever stated definitively whether it is permissible for its members to vote for the pro-choice candidates? If you are a member of the clergy or can site the relevant opinion of one, I'd appreciate it if you'd mention that. Thanks!
8 AnswersReligion & Spirituality10 years agoHow can it be ethical for Obama to 'raise taxes' on 'the rich'?
As most of us know, the President's plan is to tax those who earn more than $250,000 annually. What most don't know is that the overwhelming number of these individuals are small business owners. But if you have doubts of that, see this recent interview with Timothy Geithner: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedd...
Now consider that Obama has NO plans to increase the taxes on capital gains, which is where the SUPER rich make their money. How can this be ethical? In light of this, how can it possibly be argued that, when the President claims he wants to increase taxes on the 'rich,' he isn't actually going after small business owners while leaving his buddies, the fat cats in Banking and on Wall Street, rolling in their ill-begotten loot?
13 AnswersGovernment10 years agoLegal Question regarding the serving of a subpoena?
I came home yesterday to find a subpoena taped to my front door. Thankfully, it's not for me. The previous tenant of the house I rent is suing my landlord.
Do any of you know if this is a valid way to serve a subpoena? I always thought that orders to appear had to be delivered face-to-face. It seems even stranger to me since the intended recipient doesn't live in the house. I'm in Virginia. My landlord lives in New Orleans!

I'm looking for documentation showing the occasions where Clinton actually attacked a foreign country or foreign property. A link if you have one, please.
6 AnswersMilitary1 decade agoHow to get gas out of a totaled 1996 Geo Prism? Tank apparently has siphon blocking. Anyone know of a way?
I added $50 in gas right before the accident which totaled my car. The insurance company is coming to take it away (Ha ha!) tonight and I'd kind of like to drain the tank before giving it to them.
