  • How can I care for a cracked bone graft, besides going to the doctor?

It's a bone graft that cracked, not one of my own bones, so it doesn't hurt and isn't swollen. What should I do to help it heal? How long will it take to heal over?

  • Is anyone else wondering where the heck the "lies" are in "Path to 9/11"?

I mean, if you watched the news at all, this is a perfectly reasonable docu-drama. I'm sure they had to improvise some conversations -- it's ridiculous to expect every tiny detail to be perfect, years later -- but all of the basic facts are right. Calling it "lying" sounds an awful lot like just trying to make bad publicity, so people will doubt everything. I think it's been very tastefully done.

  • Concentrated artificial flavorings?

    .

I've recently started mixing my own lightly flavored water with artificial flavors from the spice aisle. You know, "Artificial Vanilla Extract" and that sort of thing. That way I don't have to worry about calories like I would with, say, Kool-Aid, and the crazy glycemic effects of artificial sweeteners. (Plus, the flavored water stores sell now just tastes awful, somehow....)

Problem is, I have to use half of the tiny $4 bottle in a gallon of water to even be able to taste it. This could get expensive quick! Is there a more concentrated version of this stuff? Someplace I could get a bulk discount? Something???
