I used the email/IM link and the pictures didn't show up in my auctions. I have tried eth ebay boards but picassa is new enough that no one there has used it.

There are about 2 or 3 persons in our group that when they originate or answer a post, many in the group dont' get it. They see the post when someone else answers the first one. Has anyone run into this and is there a way to fix it?

I want to do a more colorful and bold signature--perhaps even a picture. I do have a basic signature in my outlook express using the tools there but have seen more elaborate ones. The people who have them haven't been able to give me help that works.

I have event reminders going to my group and want to include a hotlink to take them directly to the database section so they can RSVP directly into it. As of now, they cut and paste the link into their browser to get to the database question.

I need help in my vegetable garden. My dad swears by miracle grow sprayed on plants (using their sprayer) every two weeks. I am hesitant to spray that on my plants due to the chemicals. Anyone know anything about this?

I did use a fertilizer that gets worked into the soil but, it doesn't get down as regularly as it should. MG may be easier...

We have had record highs in the south and my tomato plants are thin and not producing as much as I thought they would. I live in SC.

How far down did you go ( I read to "prune" no further than the width of the thumb) and did you harm the tree? How long did the cutting last? It seems to me the flowers would be fragile since I have them all over my yard!

Ok, it has happened. I let in a member who, I think, is a spammer. Of course, I deleted their membership right away. When I googled their address, it sent me to other yahoo groups where they would put in messages with links to porn sites.

How do I find out more about them to be sure they just spam groups and aren't looking to prey on my mom's group?

Because 2 year olds still take naps!!! Boy, momma needs a break!

My son has been soooo ready for the last few months and has done pretty well on his own--he just needed a nudge to get over the hump. Today we are totally in big boy underwear and running back and forth to the potty all day. I am doing the 3 day method--you've seen the books and such. He is almost there. He now runs to the bathroom as he is peeing. He is doing so well! Momma needs a little down time to clean the house and take a breather. I am so glad I didn't wait much longer to train and miss out on the break--er nap!

I have a private mom's group and am concerned about the security. I have googled various topics and sometimes come accross the home page of a yahoo group that states it is members only. The disconcerting thing is that I can view the last 4 or 5 messages posted to the group. I am concerned about lurkers out there who may find out where we are meeting with a bunch of little kids. Are these groups really invitation only and should I be concerned about the safety of this group? I know meetup.com has a fee--does that make it more private?

Is it possible to update a yahoo profile and have it be private--basically only accessible by group members? I read that everything put into the profile section is accessible by anyone. I am a moderator for a mom's group and several mom's want to put their pictures in it but are concerned about just anyone seeing it.

Thanks for the answer about making the group public. I only want invited members to be allowed to join. This is a mom's group and we want to keep it safe. Is there something else I have to do? Also, I tried doing a search for it, but couldn't find it. When I tried starting another group using the same name, it said it already existed. Help!

I just started a group yesterday and it doesn't seem to be active. The member I sent and invitation to hasn't received it and my group can't be located when searched. Any help?
