  • Free dating site that actually is worthwhile?

I'm looking for a dating site that's free but that is actually worthwhile. I'm looking for a guy who can type with (mostly) proper grammar and spelling, at the very least!

And if you say 'plentyoffish.com' I will give you a thumbs down.

  • Anyone know any Conservative Liberal Arts Colleges in the U.S.?

I'm a smart young Libertarian/Neo-Con teenager, and I'm a junior in high school. I've got an exemplary grade average and an above-average standing in my class. I get straight A's 90% of the time. In short, I am the goods for whose attention colleges are vying. However, THERE ARE FEW strong liberal arts colleges that sponsor a conservative viewpoint in even half of the student body. Most of the colleges out there are monopolized by liberals. I have nothing against liberalism, but I don't want to become one, and I don't want to be an outcast wherever I attend. Where should I go, and what should I do with my life?

  • A joke about a weiner dog. *not dirty, I promise*?

A wiener dog gets lost from his hunting party and gets stranded in the jungles of Brazil. He stumbles upon a the bones of a dead leopard and chews on them hungrily. Suddenly, a live leopard leaps from the trees. “Aha! I am going to eat you!” The wiener dog, startled, jumps up and exclaims, “Oh, so you want to fight?” and kicks the bones at his feet. Then the leopard notices the bones and thinks that the wiener dog has just slain another leopard and eaten it. So the leopard jumps up and scrambles away as fast as he can. A cheeky monkey, who witnesses the whole affair, calls to the leopard. “Hey, that dog is no leopard-killer! He just found those bones under that tree!” Then the leopard, realizing he had been outwitted, turns on his heel and dashes at full speed to an easy meal. The wiener dog, who hears the conversation, begins pacing back and forth, remarking impatiently as though he didn’t see the leopard, “What’s taking that monkey? I sent him to go find me another leopard!”

  • Here's one my music director told once.?

Three guys approach heaven. St. Peter stops them.

"Hey," he demands the first man. "Before you get into heaven, you have to answer one question. Tell me about Jesus, what did he do?"

"Um . . . on Christmas eve he leaves presents for all the good kids?" hazards the first man.

"No!" declares St. Peter, "That's not right. Wait."

He then approaches the second man. "Hey, tell me about Jesus, what did he do?"

The second man thinks, then declares: "On Easter he comes around and hides eggs and candy in people's yards."

"No!" cries Saint Peter. He tells him "Wait," then goes to the third man.

"Tell me about Jesus, what did he do?"

"Well," begins the third man without even thinking, "We celebrate the day that he emerged from the ground--"

"Wait," says St. Peter, and motions for the other guys to come listen. "Ok, go on."

The man nods. "When he comes from the ground, we wait to know if he sees his shadow. If he does, and runs back inside, it means winter isn't over."

  • Who knows what a 'masher' is?

    Not a potato masher.

I watched 'Anatomy of a Murder' the other night with Jimmy Stewart (I think it was . . .) and I was pleasantly amused by learning. Best answer to the first one who gets this right.

  • Harry Potter Fans: Who's the best guy for Luna Lovegood?

Give his name, maybe reasons why? Just out of curiosity; I'm writing a story in which she is paired with Neville Longbottom, but I'm curious to see what you think.

  • Please, describe your astrological sign in a few words?

I'm a writer and I need information for how birth dates correlate with personality, but I don't want to have to read all the information about every single astrological sign. Who has that kind of time nowadays?

So, basically, all you need to do: Give me three to five sentences to describe your personality, and your sign.

My example: Capricorn--A studious perfectionist, who is somewhat geeky. Can easily become over-obsessed about things that interest me. A go-getter, always aiming high.

So now it's your turn. And, if you're more ambitious, go ahead and summarize other signs for me. Please make sure to not give me a whole essay, just two to five sentances.

Does anyone else eat them too? I do. And I'm by no means little; I have little brothers though. I actually like them a lot.

  • "The Road Less Taken" by Robert Frost.?

This is a poem by Robert Frost:

"TWO roads diverged in a yellow wood,

And sorry I could not travel both

And be one traveler, long I stood

And looked down one as far as I could

    To where it bent in the undergrowth;

Then took the other, as just as fair,

And having perhaps the better claim,

    Because it was grassy and wanted wear;

Though as for that the passing there

Had worn them really about the same,

And both that morning equally lay

In leaves no step had trodden black.

Oh, I kept the first for another day!

Yet knowing how way leads on to way,

I doubted if I should ever come back.

I shall be telling this with a sigh

    Somewhere ages and ages hence:

Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—

I took the one less traveled by,

And that has made all the difference."

    -------------------------------

Have you taken the road less traveled by in your life? Has it made all the difference?

  • Is this relationship acceptable in today's society?

Ok, here's the story. There's a guy I know from school, who I never talked to until four months ago on the internet. Eventually, we came to be friends, then good friends, and now we like each other. The problem--he's Mexican, I'm Caucasian. Neither he nor I care at all about this. My friends don't really care too much either, (or so they say). Therefore, I wasn't worrying at all about the ethnicity issue until last Saturday I showed someone a picture of him, after I had been talking up a storm about him. Their first reaction--"He's Mexican!"

This caused me to think. Does society find our more-than-friends relationship acceptable? Will we be the most talked-down set of people in town? You are society; you tell me.

  • How do I get him to ask me?

I have a friend who really like. And he has admitted to me that he likes me back. However, this has been established for perhaps a month now, and he hasn't asked me to be his gf or anything. I am not sure if he plans to or not; he's somewhat a quiet sort of person. I know if he does ask me, then I shall accept. But the problem is that I don't know if he shall ask me or not. I don't want to ask him because that trespasses on my character. So what should I do about this? Just hang low? And btw, I cannot, will not, flirt with him. We're too close to each other for such useless tactics as that.
