Hi! Here is what happened:

My good friend K. has recorded a nice audio meditation about opening heart and feeling love. Some years ago he was selling it on audio cassette, and then put it on his site 2 years ago - for free.

Yesterday my friend F. emailed me an audio meditation read by another person, who is selling it online from his site. Gross thing is that it almost word for word repeats the meditation by my friend K! I didn't compare it all, but my estimate is that this guy used big portions of K's meditation and total percentage of K's material in his meditation is about 90%.

My friend K. for now has decided to do nothing agains the site that is supposedly on another continent.

I wonder, is this the correct way to handle this? Could it happen that if K. does nothing then one day this guy will sue K. for his own work, claiming it his own?

Please give me your take on this. What shall we take into consideration?

Hi! I signed a contract with author of a good book on health in Russian -- as his agent, and I sent first chapters to several Russian publishers. Two publishers that kow me personally

[They knew me because of my work with Klaus Joehle books http://lovebook2.tripod.com/ (I've translated them from English into Russian) that sell well in Russia, but are not widely known in the States]

responded that they want to buy the book rights.

Now, how do I conduct a book auction? Shall I ask them to submit to a certain date their proposals "in general"? Or shall I ask them to give me following figures:

1.royalty % to the author

2.number of years for the contract (new author is interested in giving the book for less years, the publisher is interested in more years)

3.proceeds to the author from foreign rights (we shall ask for more than 50%, right?)

4.upfront payment deductible from royalties

Then I shall negotiate with each of 2 for better terms and then choose the best one, right?

How? In short it's like this:

1) first he teaches himself he already has this money. (Just imagine it for a second now!)

2) Then he teaches himself to feel LOVE towards MONEY.

This makes his subconscious mind to work in the direction of attracting wealth and money.

It does work for me. I don't do everything in the book, but the little I did made me feel positive towards money and I already have more money than before.

Some may think that "money is evil". But what if we used chicken instead of money? Then chicken would become evil? :)

So: Would you like to feel MORE POSITIVE towards money? Would you like to feel LOVE towards money?

He found that people don't have plenty of money when they deep down believe that money is bad.

Those who love money - have plenty of them.

But how one can begin loving money? Klaus describes how he changed his beliefs about money and gives instructions.

So, would you like to love money and have plenty of them?

Do you think what I wrote really makes sense? What are your feelings towards money?

I found this book on the internet back in 1999, and loved it so much that translated it into Russian, put it online and in 2005 it was picked up by a big Russian publisher and is selling well there.

So now I'd like to see the book become as popular in the States too. So I created a site, a forum, and a Yahoo-group that serves as a newsletter. But I still don't see mane new people coming up. Maybe it's just a matter of time?

Advice please how else can I push this book about the Power of Love and Winning Sports Bets to the States?

Contacting an agent could work... But it's more fun when the publisher comes on it's own! :)))
