There is a debate on one political site on whether the terms Hun and Tim are racist. So Rangers supporters do you call yourself Huns or find it abusive or does it depend on the context in which the term is used. I know that the Celtic fans call themselves the "Tim Malloys" in one chant but are you offended if called a Tim or is it again contextual.

Now I read a lot of politics being a boring sod but am somewhat surprised about the increasing number of politicians raising the sectarian divide during this election campaign. Are they really worried or are they chasing votes from one side or another in the run up to the Holyrood election.

Her statements to the legislatures, the people and the press are misleading as are the actions of those senators seeking confrontation with the UK government. The release of the man convicted of the crime has nothing at all to do with the UK government. To use American terminology this crime was tried under state law and not Federal and the release by the Scottish Justice minister was the equivalent of a State Attorney General giving a pardon on a matter which did not concern the Federal government. So why hassle the present UK government when she is fully aware that it has nothing to do with this matter and the Conservative Party have only had on elected law maker in Scotland in the last 20 years, could it be she is quite happy to divert attention from Obama's woes in any manner even though it is based on deliberate untruths or naive ignorance. Please note I am not asking for an opinion on the emotive matter of the release itself.
