Is the name Social Sciences a proper one?
Why should one insist that Social knowledge has to be Scientific? science is based on the knowledge of causal connection, and strictly speaking, there is no scientificity in Social Sciences. Are we still suffering from the 19th Century European euphoria of Science? Are we still in the line of Auguste Comte looking out for the possibility of a Social Physics?

People think that money, power and fame etc. can make one happy, But his had been proven wrong. Then what can make one happy, from where one can experience peace from within? How can one go about experiencing, what Buddha called, Bliss? If all objective pleasuers can not give you bliss, then what is the point in running after them? Why should people be in a race like mad horses? Isint it all meaningless?
