Miss Interpreted

In Montreal, QC I subletted an apartment with another girl, and the old woman who owned the place said we were free to use any part of the house, but don't open one closet. I figured this was normal, it was locked and she probably kept valuables in there.

Well 3 days into staying there, the other girl informed me that she picked the lock and went in the closet, and there was a file cabinet. She said the only thing in there was a small leather pouch, with a pentagram on it and symbols between every space in the pentagram. Inside the pouch there were ivory cubes with different symbols on each side. I was annoyed she went in the closet, I held the cubes in my hand and looked at some then told her to put it back.

Later that night she started flipping out (the other girl) and saying there was something evil in the apartment. We left that night (she was crying) and got a hotel.

Ever since I've been home (california) I have felt like things haven't been right. I've had a horrible string of bad luck and bad occurences.

My question is does anyone know what the cubes/pouch could have been? And do I have negative energy/a curse on me from touching those cubes when we were forbidden to go in the closet? Voodoo? Black magic?

Physical or not.

Its like some kind of rule that if it tastes delicious it must be bad for you :(
