I am a normally serious person but love jokes and humor. I believe in sharing with others whatever knowledge I have gained in life. Its my view that Yahoo Answers is meant for serious exchange of opinions between people, and so I give my answers after some thought. You are welcome to contact me on my e mail link on Yahoo Answers.

  • Would members here please give their views on the following suggestions on answering questions?

    1. Provide a ‘Return to questions list’ button immediately after the end of the question that you have just answered, on the page that shows your just posted answer. This would avoid two strokes on the ‘Back’ button at the top left of the screen, to return to the page of questions you had last . (The suggested button to be located to the right of the wording of the question and not at the bottom of the page where your answer is shown.)

    2. Provide an additional Up/Down scroll bar (vertical scroll bar) on the left side of the page to scroll up/down after you return to the list of questions from which you last posted an answer to a question. This would facilitate easier scrolling from the left side than from the right, and may also be useful to those who are left-handed.

    Thank you.

  • For Computer Security Experts: 'Ultimate Defender'?

I DONT view porn/adult sites on the internet, nor does anyone from my family. However, I sometimes get from friends/relations, some pictures of family members (no sexual content), nature, e greetings, etc.

Now I find that I suddenly get warning pop ups which say that there is a security danger as I have visited some adult/porn sites, etc. and offers free scan. This free scan is mostly from 'Ultimate Defender', and lists a large no. of dangerous items affecting my computer. Of course they ask for a fee to download their scan program.

This sudden pop up creates serious misunderstandings within the family as we all use only one computer that runs on XP.

I scan my computer daily twice with Windows Defender, Spybot Search and Destroy, and Ad-aware SE. I remove any objectionable spyware/malware/trojan etc. they recommend.

Is there anyway I can get rid of this notice from Ultimate Defender? Is their scan/notice genuine?

Only genuine experts reply, please. Thanks.
