  • Travelling by train in Northern Ireland. Do I need to book beforehand?

Planning on going from Dublin to Belfast then onto Derry by train. There will also be some other train trips. Will I need to buy tickets beforehand or can I just turn up on the day and buy at the station. Are the trains busy or not? These will be weekday journeys in November if it makes a difference.

  • Martin Luther King day?

Hoping to visit America next January and notice that my dates coincide with Martin Luther King day.

Can anyone tell me what happens on this day? Does everything shut down like Thanksgiving? I'm thinking particularly about public transport, restaurants and shops.

    Thanks for any help.

  • Sonic drive-in. Is it strictly a drive-in?

Having never been to a Sonic drive-in I'm keen to try. Thing is, is it open to walk-ins or is it strictly drive-in? Does it have inside tables and can you order inside?

Their website is not help, so thanks in advance if anyone answers.

  • Thanksgiving in Fort Worth.?

I'll be in Fort Worth and would like to have a traditional Thanksgiving meal, maybe a buffet with a little bit of everything.

Does anyone have any info about the Renaissance Worthington Hotel in Fort Worth, which people seem to like. I can't find any info on their web site and I'd like to know the cost, etc.

Thanks in advance to any that can help me.

  • The colour of dollars?

I've just noticed that some dollars I bought back from America two years ago were green in colour, but the new ones (10s) I've just received are a kind of pink. Are the green ones still legal tender and will I be able to spend them in shops, etc. If not, will I be able to change them in a bank or am I stuck with them?

Thanks in advance for any help given.

  • Dallas reunion tower. Any date for re-opening?

I'm visiting Dallas in late November and wondered if there was any date set for the tower's re-opening? It says on the website it should be open in Fall 2008, which I suppose is October-ish, but is there any local knowledge about it?

    Thanks in advance.

  • Is it legal to connect to someone else's wi-fi?

I'm in the UK and I've got a wi-fi laptop. If someone in my area has a wi-fi signal that my laptop can detect, is it legal to try and connect to it? It's picking up a few secure signals, but I'm not sure if it suddenly detects an 'open' one, will I be in trouble?

Any help gratefully recieved, cos I'm not computer literate!!

  • Billy Bob's Texas. Do they sell out?

I'm going To Fort Worth in November and notice that Kevin Fowler is playing there. I've never heard about the feller, but liked what I've heard on youtube, so think I might go and watch him.

How popular is he and is it likely his concert is going to sell out? (ie. Do you reckon I need to buy tickets beforehand or can I just turn up on the day?)

  • Will Archos 604 wifi bought in America work in Britain?

I live in UK and I'm thinking of buying one of these, but notice that the 160Gb version in USA is cheaper than the 30Gb version in Britain.

If I bought one, would it work with a British DVR station (which I would need to buy here to get the right plug)?

Am I missing something, or is this just a case of prices being higher here?

Any help is gratefully received, as I'm a bit of a plank with technology!

  • What's the weather like in Niagara falls in Mid November?

I expect it to be cold, (being winter and all that) but someone told me that it will probably be in deep snow. Is this true? Am I making a mistake planning a trip to what sounds like Antartica?
