Am a Catholic Christian born in 1935. Became a Catholic in 1960. Have 2 cats and had 1 little Pekingnese named Paddy. He was born April 29, 1992 Had him since he was 6 months old. Died January 9, 2009. Was blind in one eye, had arthritis, injury to a back leg. Had congested heart failure. He evacuated with me during hurricanes. He visited the nursing home with me. He loved to visit my stepmother who lived to be almost 100. She had a sweetness about her that made him want to sit right next to her. He loved to go to the Vet Clinic. I had boarded him there on occasion and he thought it was a fancy resort hotel. Some say he was a celebrity. He didn't know it. He loved the attention of children, got along with my cats. After Rita he stayed with me at the Sheraton in Houston. One lady got on the elevator and said "There he is!" I had to yank on his leash real hard to keep him from following her off the elevator. Little man you made people smile.
