What is the formula in Excel to create a status report from other worksheet data?
Three worksheets - (sheet1) contains two buttons (add & delete) using VB userforms that puts the data into sheet2. {make of car, model of car, color of car}.
(sheet2- make of cars in a2:a350 {a2:a5- ford}{a6:a10 - chevy}, model of cars b2:b350 {b2 mustang, b3 thunderbird, b4 pinto, b5 F150 truck}{a6:a10- etc..} , color of cars in c2:c350 {c2 green, c3 red, c4 blue, c5 white} {c6:c10 - etc..}
(sheet3) Row A - make, Row B - # on hand
Question - What would the formulas be in Row A & B 2:6 - {a2 - Ford, a3 - Chevy, a4 - Dodge, a5 - Toyota, a6 - Nissan} {b2 - 4, b3 - 4, b4 - 6, b5 - 10, b6 - 3}
In other words, Can Excel look at sheet2 Row A and find the first occurence of model of car and then tell me how many times it occurs, then put that data in sheet3 on Rows A & B and update that information when I use sheet1 (add or delete) button?
