I am in 3rd year HS in Southeast Asia with a GPA of 3.7 at most. I would like to major in business. What are the good colleges in NY particularly NYC (Cornell? Columbia? NYU?)

I am not a US-citizen and I do not have money to study in the US. I am in my junior year at high school and I am currently weighing my options at courses. I do not know what to take in my local university that would help me live in NYC. I am pretty much flexible and would do anything and even get work experience here for a while so that I can fly to NYC and live my dream ASAP. PLEASE HELP ME. I am very depressed here in the Philippines. It is very beautiful and all but it is not for me.

Economics? Management? And how hard is it to to get a job there (New York) right after you graduate?

I want to be a surgeon in New York but I only have the means to study med here in Asia. Do US hospitals accept non-US citizens who have been trained somewhere other than the US? What if I get a green card, will that help?

I figured I need a job that does not require me to stay put (that does NOT mean me going out on business trips) and is enough to support my traveling. What course do I take in college? I am not passionate about any job since I only want to go around the world.

I would probably like managing hotels and stuff like that and I also would *secretly* like performing on stage plays and musicals.

And no, I do not want to be a pilot.

So in short, what course does a traveler/hotel manager/broadway star/humanitarian take in order to win at life? I DON'T WANT TO DO ALL OF THOSE BECAUSE my priorities lie in traveling and doing humanitarian work.

I absolutely HATE HATE HATE school. It's not just the opposite of a passing fancy but it's the cause of why I have a personality disorder (or possibly more). I have bipolar (manic depression) because of all the stress and cliques and homework and projects. We have 10 assignments a day and they're all due the next day. It's destroying me even though I have a high IQ and straight A grades. I have told my parents but they do not take me seriously. They have enrolled me for next school year (3rd year high) and I DON'T THINK I CAN HANDLE ANY MORE. I don't even know what I want to be when I grow up.

I can't sleep, eat, and almost every weekend I am at somebody's house or at school staying overnight doing some project. It does not help that we are run by strict nuns and the fact that my mum works at night and does not see me because I go to school at 5 am and go home 7 pm.

I just waste what's left of my weekend doing things I like but they make me so depressed 'cuz I know they won't last.
