As the US political system was founded how did the struggle to balance liberty with power shape the role of government and define the relationship between the individual and the state?

no this is not a homework questions. it's a focus questions we discussed in class today and I'm curious what other people think.

I have been out of school for the 2 week period that they to write this paper, due to surgery, so I was unable to be in class for the editing and peer help. my teacher expects me to do it on my own in 3 days so I am in a bit of a hurry.

My paper is on the "trials and tribulations of being 'pretty'" focusing on society's view of "pretty" in the world today and how women and girls feel like they have to go to extremes to reach it. this is my thesis so far, please critique if you can. thank you so much

Women and girls should not have to focus so much on the essence and pain of being “pretty” and more on the real beauty of being an individual.

Ok so i just downloaded a movie to itunes (from limewire) and i want to convert it to a MP4 file. i have a converter and all that so please dont tell me what i should use.

but where exactly on my computer are the movie files? they arent under itunes music...and they arent in "my videos" so where are they?

I just got an ipod touch about 3 months ago and Today i was looking though my programs to move some stuff around so my computer will move faster. I saw that i have Mobileme as a program...and i know it has something to do with Macs and ipods and what not...but do i really need it? I have a PC...if i take it off my computer will it do something to my ipod?

ps...i have no clue how it got on here....

Ok so my dad and I were watching tv one day when we cam across the show "meteorite men" and we watched it and really enjoyed it. Then my dadblooked at me and said "I wonder I'd that old rock in the front of our yard is a meteorite..." we've had this weird looking rock in our front yard dice we first moved in 14 years ago. It just came with the house. It's black and slightly pitted with weird formations on it. So we went out the next day with a industrial magnet and without even touching the rock the magnet flew to it! Obviously it's iron of some sort. I wonder if it's worth anything. It's about a foot long and about 50 lbs. Anybsuggesions on what we should do to check it out? Thanks!!

ok so im bored i want to try this fishing game...i have a rod and bait...but every time i go into it he says i need bait...if u know what to do please help!

ok so i was getting out of the back seat of my moms van today and my boyfriend (not realizing that i was behind him) shut the door before i could get my full body out...so he basically shut the door on my neck. It hit me on the right side just behind my ear and kinda pinned me against the side for a minute. of course it didnt shut all the way but it hit me hard and i was knocked back into the seat. i couldnt see for a couple seconds and everything went kinda fuzzy at the edges...but i felt fine, my neck was just sore.

then a while we were at lunch my right ear started ringing and i would have moments where the sound was kinda muffled through that ear. After a couple minutes it stopped and now it just feels like i have a stiff neck and if i get up to fast or move to fast i feel kinda whoozy...

could it be serious?

should i be concerened?

should i see a doctor?

please help

how EXACTLY can a make my camera trasfer duplicates. I mean how do i change the settings on my kodak program to allow me to transfer duplicates...it keeps saying that the picture im tring to transfer from my camera to my kodak program is already in my collection when i know for a fact that it is not...ive done this before when i made a command to allow it to transfer duplicates and i cannot remember how i did it. so can someone tell me DIRECT instructions so i can get my pictures?

and please do NOT tell me to get another program or to use a computer chip transfer thingy because i already know that there is a better solution to the problem
