What type of fabric for my quilt?
I want to make a patch square quilt. I actually wanted to make a tshirt quilt with a fleece back but I don't want to steal my friend's shirts to make it (it's going to be for Christmas) so instead I'm going to screen print/put pictures on the fabric through a screenprinting company. What kind of fabric should I use for this? I want the quilt to be soft (why I want a fleece backside) because he'll be taking it with him on bus trips and such. Thank you in advance for your help! I guess the question is, "What kind of fabric do I need to purchase for the transfers? Does any fabric work? 100% cotton? What do you think?"

Sometimes you can see parts of the picture I'm trying to take but ultimately it is SHEET WHITE! haha I am trying to work with Manual and whenever I use the flash they always turn out white. What am I setting wrong on it? The ISO? The F-stop?
I'm using an F-stop of 1.8 but I keep changing everything else and I can't get it to work. However, if I put the flash down..I can take the picture it's just not well lit. What gives with this darn flash?!?! =0(

I have two photos I really like, I can't figure out how they got the effect.
The B and W has a lot of WHITE in it. Is that from the flash they used? Because usually when I take b&w photos they come out grey and black. How to whiten them up more is my first question?
