I'm fairly car retarded so bear with me. lol

In our minivan, some black oily substance is in the reservoir. Either it is oil that is leaking in due to a blown head gasket or my father said it could be stopleak. We need to know which it is to either get it fixed or continue driving it. Both are oil based so it is hard to tell. Is there a surefire way to tell without changing oil and such? It is VERY cold here and we don't have a garage or anything to work on the car in. Thanks much!

I like this game a lot, but am experiencing a very frustrating problem, after about 5 minutes of play, my graphics ingame seem to crash. The textures will turn different colors and all the pixels will be messed up, but the game is still running. I can still run around but it is unplayable. I always just have to exit out. I have a dual core processor which I learned gave me problems originally and set my affinity to run on one processor now.

So the obvious standard function is 2x^3+(-2x^2)+x+4. I just included parenthesis to make it easier to read the function. I am trouble writing the "factored version", where the equation kinda looks like 3(x+3)(x+3) etc. If any of you understand what I am talking about get at me, I kinda need an explanation in basic terms, cause I am having trouble. I have bc2 and lately it has been acting up. I will start the game, then click the server browser/login. I will put in my user and pass and then do the clan tag as usual. Then I get the loading ring that says "Updating/Loading Your Stats.," And then the loading ring stops and it freezes. I have to hard reboot it because I can't end task. Is this a common problem that is easy to fix? This only started happening recently and I usually play it flawlessly on mid/high settings. Here's my specs if it matters.

Can anyone help?

I just bought the Witcher and I keep having problems. I will get 16-20 second pauses and after about 10-20 minutes the graphics will go haywire. I will see random textures and stuff and I can't read the messed up text, totally unplayable.

Here are my three main problems.

1. I just bought Assassins Creed. I played through it a bit fine, then I went to turn the graphics to high and the game started running fast. Like Altair runs and walks in fast motion and everything else does the same. I tryed to turn the graphics back down, but the game still runs this speed. I had just gotten to Damascus and everything up until there ran great. Any suggestions?

2. Bad Company 2: I love this game but it has been giving me problems lately. I go to login from the main menu and it goes to the loading screen that says "Updating Your Stats." The loading wheel then stops moving and the game freezes. Any suggestions?

3. The Witcher: LOVE this game. But yet, problems. With this one, I get frequent pauses, and after a little while, the graphics tend to wig out and the area turns mostly green and I get those real rough textures. Then the game is pretty much unplayable. Any suggestions?

I noticed today that my computer makes a thunderclap noise. This noise comes from the speakers, not the tower itself. It just sounds like a clip of thunder. I heard it once while playing Call of Duty and another time while surfing the web. Any suggestions?
