I've seen toothbrushes with rubber bristles on the sides, bristles of varying heights, different shaped heads. Is it entirely a marketing scheme, or is there any benefit?

I mean, I've been brushing with plain toothbrushes for my whole life & never had a cavity...

I'm painting a white ceiling that has some dark red paint on it from a previous sloppy wall painting job. Will it look uneven if I just put primer over the red spots & do a coat of white over the whole ceiling, or should I prime the whole ceiling? It's flat interior latex paint, if that makes a difference.

Both times when I flew into/out of Salt Lake City, I noticed large, purple geometric shapes around the lake from the plane. They were BRIGHT purple, not like anything I've ever seen in nature. I have never actually been to SLC, only used the airport as a layover, so I am not familiar with the layout of the land. Any idea what type of landform I am looking at from the sky? Or is it just the way the water appears?

Whey I try to rip a CD, I get this error message:

Windows Media Player cannot play, burn, rip, or sync the file because a required audio codec is not installed on your computer.

I'm not sure what that means or how to fix it...

When I was camping in Pennsylvania, we chopped up dead trees for firewood. The little wood chips were glowing in the dark, sort of a green-yellowish tint. Has anyone ever seen this? Any idea what would cause this?

I went to a great new liquor store to look for beer yesterday & saw Dogfish Head "Jin" and a rum made by Rogue. Apparently DFH also makes vodka, tequila & rum as well. They were not cheap though.

Anyone try them yet?

I'm going to infuse vodka with rosemary. If I like the results, I'm going to try infusing gin with lavender or some other herb. Has anyone had any personal experiences with infusing spirits?

What brand of vodka would you recommend to use? I don't want to use anything cheap & crappy.

I attended a Beer Festival this weekend which featured about 75 craft brewers serving up samples of thier finest brews...I just wanted to try it all! A lot of the breweries whose beers I regularly drink had brews that I don't usually see in my area.

Last time I attended this festival, I was fine...this time, I didn't handle it as well. It's funny how your drinking habits tend to change as you get a little older.

And it's amazing how 2 oz samples can really add up..

I am eligible for a new phone from Verizon this week and just want a basic phone with camera & video. Internet & mp3 player are not necessary. I prefer NOT to have a Motorola.
