I remember that I saw this word in an article once and can't find it anymore. When I looked it up its defenition was along the lines of "doing something because it makes financial or economic sense but is somewhat taboo or morally questionable".

Ive been playing with my photon/galaxy deck for well over a year now. Only for friendly play but since my friend and I have entered the competitive scene, I need to change some things ( change to hieratic deck for this). My deck can make about 2 xyzs plays with the right cards on the first turn but then moves very slowly. I dont have the money for the good high dollar cards so i have to deal with the cheaper decent cards so the plays arent that great. One of the biggest factors crippling my deck is the draw power which my deck has almost nothing to be able to get better cards in hand. What are some good cards that can increase my draw power? . One card i know of is trade in but i dont really want to use it since my lv 8 monsters are important for some plays. (i can just switch something out for another galaxy zero but meh) Any and all advice will be taken into consideration. Thanks!

Hi! I've been working on a poem for this slam poetry thing and my teacher wants us to highlight and identify the literary devices that we have in our poem. I've been finding all the ones i intentionally put in but i found on I didnt really notice. "the dream that i long for will shatter" Would this fit under some sort of literary device (simile, alliteration, symbolism, ect.) and explain why? I was just wondering since a dream is more of an idea and not a physical object so it can't really break. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

For the most part everything is self explanatory. I use yamadron to go into rank 5 xyzs. I use labradorite dragon as another vanilla lv 6 and as a cards of consonance target. im thinking of taking out one flamvell guard since i use him mostly as a consonance target, defence, and sometimes i go for iron chain dragon. it might seem weird that i run 2 draconnection but i find it useful when i often dont have the right monsters in my hand. The traps are there for added defence since this this isnt an OTK deck and can start out slow. The extra deck is as good as it gets since i cant get my hands on the good cards like atum, gaia dragon, and m7. Im going to my locals soon and i just want to see how i will do. i dont really need to win that often but i just dont want to lose every single match i get into. Any help is appreciated!

The deck i came up with is capable of making lv 6, 7, and 8 synchros and rank 5 and 6 xyzs. Quite a few of these are just space users that are just there. I need some good to decent generics or monsters that will work within hieratics that i can fit into here. I know their are cards such as constellar ptolemy m7, hieratic dragon king of atum, and gaia dragon the thunder charger, but these cards are way out of my price range and nobody is willing to trade. I do have constellar pleiades but with my play style is too uncommon to have and keep out 2 lv 5 light monsters so i just dont put it in. Any help is greatly appreciated!

his effect if I remember correctly states that you can banish a lv 4 or higher gem knight fusion monster in your graveyard so master diamonds name and effect become the same as the banished monster's. My question is if he loses his first effect that states that he gains 100 atk for every gem knight monster in my graveyard. Im building a gem knight/gemini deck so im still learning thier effects.

Basically most of the cards are self explanatory for a hieratic deck. However, i will explain the odd cards i have.flamvell gaurd and galxy serpent i use for synchros since they can be summoned by a hieratics effect.yamadron i use along with nebthet to go into a quick adreus if the moment calls for it.galaxy eyes i have mostly to take care of any xyzs that have lost all thier materials or a situation where i can bring him out and not something else. cyber valley is used for stalling and drawing power.dread dragon is just there until i can get a third galaxy serpent. reasoning is great for this deck since it contains many high level monsters and is kinda good for removing spells and traps from the top of my deck that might slow down my current play.photon sanct,uarry is for emergency defense and emergency summoning if i can start off a play with cards like eset o tefnuit. with monster gate, i can activate a hieratic's effect and get a free monster as well. xyz xtreme i just put into my deck. since i am the only one within my friends that really uses xyz monsters, it can help me win a game if lets say my opponent killed my photon strike bounzer and then i can activate xyz xtreme and select sword breaker for an easy 2700 damage.

my extra deck is mostly built out of filler cards since i can afford the expensive cards like atum, gaia, or trident dragion. mist bird clausolas is one of those fillers but i still have the possibility of bringing it out. ancient fairy i use in situations like this: normal eset, tribute for nebthet, summon galaxy serpent, synchro for ancient fairy, use its effect to summon flamvell guard for a lv 8 synchro.most others are used to try and lockdown my opponent or bring a strong beater out if needed.

My friend told me about it and burned me a dvd with the original version and I love it! I got used to looking at subtitles but I would prefer to watch the english dub even though people say the original is better. Is thier a website or something preferably on mobile where I can watch the english dub? If thier isnt a website available on mobile is thier a good website that I can go on without any viruses or anything for free on a desktop?

My club at school has these game days where we come in and play some ol fashioned xbox. The only multiplayer games we have are halo 2 and mortal kombat: deception. What are some other good games we can play? I heard red faction 2 is good but ... Yea.

Im just wondering what the above question says. I know that there are cards like blood mefist and the ddr blue eyes that go for like $300 since they are extremely hard to find or because there were only like 32 ever made. What have seen recently going for extreme amounts of cash? Im not talkin about cards like big eye or dracosac that go for a bit over $100 after thier true ability is discovered and thier price then slowly becomes nothing, im talkin about true rare collectors items.

Me and my friends are fans of yugioh and play it every now and then. My friend got so butt hurt after the new banlist that he started telling us about kaijudo. From what I know its a revival of a card game that died many years ago. I dont know if its worth the money or time since it might not even last that long. What do you think of it?

Ok a little while ago I was playing someone on dueling network. I had a galaxy eyes photon dragon and token out and he had a red eyes darkness dragon with about 4500 att and a blue eyed maiden. I had an infinite loop goin on when he attacked my gepd with his redd I banished both. He was close to decking out until he said that the attack still went through. I looked it up and said that his eff stated that it was a quick effect. So my question is:

If he attack my gepd with his redd and used gepd's effect, can I use the effect before damage calculation so the attack doesnt hurt me?

I just found a trap stun card within my collection and from what I have been hearing some people say its going to be a decent card this format. I just want to know how this card works. any help is appreciated. :)

If the U.S. was attacked by a biological or chemical weapon by a country and not some crazy terrorist group, do you think the U.S. would react with a nuclear strike? If not, what do you think the U.S. would do?

This is my deck that I use with my friends. I dont really go against anything meta except every month or so I go to my locals. Any improvements changes? Also nothing to expensive please!

To special summon galaxy eyes photon dragon, do the monsters need 2000 original attack or 2000 current attack? Im asking this because my hieratic deck can bring out monsters with high attack but its reduced to 0 by the effects of the hieratic monsters.

Some people think its stronger than ever, others hate it because it has changed so much ect. I got back in the game when the xyz came out. I had to learn quick but i still think the game is fun for what it is. (Except the pay-to-win concept) some decks can be op even if you dont spend $100 per card. I know magic has been out thier longer and is still the most popular card game out thier. Cardfight vanguard is pretty popular too as is quickly rising in the ranks. Pokemon tcg... i never really liked it much i only collected thd cards cuz i liked pokemon back in the day. I always thought of it as a ripoff of magic (no hate). Now people are talkin about weiss scharz whatever. Where is this goin? Lastly i just want to say for those that hate yugioh cuz of how it changed... nomatter what game, let it be a video, card, or board game, every game has to evolve to stay fresh. Just try them out and you might like xyz and synchros depending on the stage u left on. Also just to include this:

Xyz eff- op eff used 2-4 times

Synchro eff- op eff used 1-unlimited times

Fusion eff (ussually no eff)- unlimited times

Theg balanced stuff out a littld bit with every new card type let it be specific materials or cards needed.

I run a hieratic synchro deck and cards like ophion and shock master cause massive problems. I need good spells that will work with the deck to get rid of pesky monsters. I run ryko and hammer shot but ryko often gets rid of good cards. Nebthet can get get rid of monsters but cards like ophion prevents me from getting him out. Im trying to get a black hole (its weird that i never owned one) but any other suggestion will be appreciated.

Is it in the ocg name or something? Im pretty sure the cards from JOTL were added onto DN a while ago. I want to add them to my hieratic synchro deck and see how the deck works with it. Any help would be great!
