I am staying in US. I am on L1 from August. My wife came to US on L2 on Dec 2007. She doesnt have SSN. She is not in any job. Now when filling tax return for me, The SSN for her is mandatory? The online tax return from, is asking it as a mandatory, when I select filling status as Married and Filling separately or Married and filling joint. Please someone clarify. Thanks

One month back I had Hernia (left side) operation. Last three days, I feel pain in the hip joint, where my left leg bone meets the hip, (paining in the bone joint ) when I suddenly fold my leg, or tilt my toe. This is not always, only sometimes. One very basic question, why petrol engine needs a spark plug, and disel engine doesnt need? Sounds contradictory, because the petrol is more inflamable than Disel, when Disel can be fired without spark, why the petrol cant be?
