Can I use any brand of thread in a Serger-style sewing machine?
I just bought a Serger sewing machine (a Janome). A person told her that she can't use "cheap thread" in it. I think that that person wants to sell expensive thread. Can I buy her "spools" at Walmart or other discount site? The sewing store charges two or three times what I can get them for elsewhere.
