    Short Division Help?

    I was studying Short Division and using the method recommended, I tried this sum: 799 divided by 4. I worked it out by dividing each number then added all of the remainders together. However, the number I got was 127 but the number a calculator tells me is 199.75. Can anyone tell me why this is please?

  • How does one eat A la Carte?

    I've been browsing A la Carte menus, and I can't understand how it works. There seems to be no clear starter, main or desert. Does on order lots of individual dishes and share them around the table? If so, does the restaurant supply spare plates so the dishes can be shared out?
