Anyone else think Rachel Ray has gotten so annoying?!?
Lately she has gotten so annoying I can't really watch her show anymore. I feel sorry for her guests as she is CONSTANTLY talking over them or cutting them off. She is just a bad host in general and come across very awkward. Her voice has gotten so husky it's hard to listen to her and she always talks with her outside voice. And what has happened to her appearance??? I watched a show from Dec 07 recently and was shocked. She was way thinner and better looking, not to mention her voice was normal. I am guessing that the average person is not watching daily because she regergitates everything. I have heard all of her stupid jokes to nauseum! I used to tune in for her cooking portion but I just can't stand her personality anymore!! same old jokes and sayings every single day. I would not be surprised if her show gets cancelled!
26 AnswersTalk Shows1 decade agoOkay to email a specialist?
I have been working with a specialist for a bizarre illness that has been hard to diagnos. I thought of something that I should tell him, but don't see him for 6 weeks from now. His email address is listed on the hospital's website. is it okay to send him an email even though he did not provide it himself? I don't want to come across as inappropriate but I don't think I need to take up his time on the phone.
1 AnswerOther - Health1 decade agoCan I be fired from work for serious illness?
I have been at my new job for only three months - infact my 3 month probationary period is about to end in a day or two. During my time at my new job I have come down with a serious illness that is in the process of being disagnosed. It's a serious situation that required a kidney biopsy at the hospital and 4 days to recover at home. My doctor felt that it would be better for me to take a few days off due to not only the biopsy but due to my over decline of health. My question is - can my employer fire me because of the sitiuation or perhaps lay me off in favor of continuing to work for them? Ideally I would welcome the opportunity to not work anyone and receive unemployment, but I also want to be sure that my rights are not being violated. Anyone else experience a similar situation? There is a very good chance that I will need more time off in the future depending on the final diagnosis of the disease. I have no shortage of notes from doctors/specialists.
