Someday...
I'm 33, have been married for 2.5 years and have been TTC since Jan '07. We have been diagnosed with unexplained infertility. The history - after coming off the BCP I'd been on for 17 years I had erratic temps and long (40-60 day) cycles. After testing (hormone panels, semen analysis and HSG) we tried 7 cycles of Clomid (6/07 to 1/08). I decided I needed a break from Clomid and I've had 8 cycles with ovulation withoud drugs. We're giving it until early 2009 until we start thinking about IUI and visiting a new RE. The last two cycles I took progesterone to lengthen the 11-12 day luteal phase I'd had and it was successful so I'll be doing it again this cycle. I also take EPO and B-6 to help support CM and my luteal phase. I'm a full blown chart addict and feel like it gives me the most info about what my body is up to. I also use OPKs. ~*~*~*~*~Baby dust to all~*~*~*~*~
TWW here again ~ anyone else?
So the TWW is here again! Here's a link to my chart, http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/230f90. I'm having lots of symptoms (fatigue, dizziness, cramps, etc.) but I'm on progesterone so I'm having trouble guessing which are from the meds and which might be real. Anyone want to give me their thoughts on what they think of my chart?
If not, anyone else in the TWW with me? How's it going for you? Good luck & baby dust!!!

Anybody else with me? Thought I'd give us all a moment to vent =)
I finished my first round or progesterone but got BFN and AF arrived today. Already looking forward to all the BD ahead though =) After 20 months of this I'm starting to get the hang of the BFN, when I finally get a BFP I'll probably faint!
Good luck and baby dust to all!
6 AnswersTrying to Conceive1 decade ago1st Cycle on Progesterone...suggestions please!?
My chart for this cycle is at, http://www.ivillage.com/fertilitychart/?c=%2BsQ8HG... I started progesterone 3DPO (to make my 10-11 day luteal phase longer) and that caused another temp shift after the normal ovulation shift. But could that have been an implantation dip 7DPO? Any ideas what the two vertical cover lines (or temp areas) are?
I'm suppose to test on Sunday and if it is negative my doc instructed me to stop the progesterone and let AF come. Do you think that I'd have enough hCG by 15DPO to tell for sure? I'm concerned about quiting the progesterone if it's too early to know the negative is for real. Suggestions or experiences?
Also, I've been having cramping the last 12 hrs or so. Could this be my body starting a period since I normally would start today or tomorrow? I hope not since the purpose of taking this was to make my luteal phase longer...
Thanks for any and all comments & suggestions =) Baby dust to all!
1 AnswerTrying to Conceive1 decade agoWhat do you think chart stalkers?
Here's my chart:

Keep in mind that I started progesterone 3DPO and that causes another temp shift. But could that have been an implantation dip 7DPO? Any ideas what the two horizontal coverlines are? I'd been charting on my computer, not an on line charting program so I'm a little confused by that.

2 AnswersTrying to Conceive1 decade agoTWW, how to pass the time? Also, what to expect with progesterone?
Man this TWW stinks! I always try to keep my excitment in check but every month the TWW seems long. Any tips for how to pass the time?
I'm 32, been ttc for 18 months. This month my doctor has me on 100mg daily of B-6 and 200mg of progesterone in a suppository at night to try to help with a 10-11 day luteal phase. I'm 3DPO so I start the progesterone tonight and am a little anxious. What should I expect...both physically and mentally as I start these? Your experiences with this would be most appreciated!
This cycle I had a positive OPK on CD20 in the late eveing, so I'm pretty sure I O'ed on CD 21. We BD on CD 15, 17, 19, 21 & 22. Temps have been high since CD22. I'm so hoping it's my time...
Thanks for all the baby dust you can spare!!!
4 AnswersTrying to Conceive1 decade agoTime of Day for OPK?
I've been TTC for 18months and tried OPK's when I was on Clomid about a year ago. Not one test in three cycles was positive. I'm thinking I might have started & stopped testing too early in my cycle since most doctors tell you to start on CD10 I probably quit by the time I ovulated near CD 20-21.
Now that my cycle has been more consistent I'm going to give the OPK's another shot. I'd like to test once a day, what time of day do you think would be the most accurate to catch the surge?
Anyone else have trouble getting OPKs to work for them?
2 AnswersTrying to Conceive1 decade agoSide effects of progesterone suppositories?
I'm new here...32, been ttc for 18 months. Initally coming off BCPs I wasn't ovulating so I did 6 months of Clomid, each month the side effects built up and the 6th month I felt down right crazy. So I decided to go off of those and luckily have been ovulating on my own. DH and I have been through the fertility tests (ultra sound, seman profile, & HSG) and been diagnosed with unexplained fertility.
We aren't ready for IUI or IVF yet. My doctor wants me to try vaginal suppositories this cycle because of a shortened lutuel phase (11-12 days). From what I've read one of the side effects is depression and I'm concerned about that...can you ladies who've tried these let me know how it went for you?
Thank you & good luck to everyone!
