What happens if you take a class after receiving a degree? Does that grade count for anything?
I haven't found the answer to this around here yet. I have a B.A., and am taking a class at a community college right now to learn a bit more/for fun. I just got a full-time job in my field though so it's become increasingly harder to focus on the class. I don't know if I should drop with a "W" or finish it with a C or even a D.
Does a class you take after graduation affect you in the future? ie. if you went for a Master's? Would a C or bad grade be better or worse than dropping with a "W"?
1 AnswerHigher Education (University +)9 years agocould you still get a new copy of your driver's license at the dmv after it's been suspended?
I got my license suspended a while ago and have been finding difficult to be without any form of ID, plus my passport isn't up to date yet, etc. I would get a CA ID but I need the driver's license for a specific reason. I'm assuming the DMV would have on record that your license was suspended...but is there someway around it? to just get a copy of the card. Would they do it? It's not like I could legally drive with it anyway..
1 AnswerInsurance & Registration1 decade agoDrunk in Public charge for a Minor in CA?
I am 19, and while on a visit to San Luis Obispo, CA, got a drunk in public- alcohol only- charge 647(F) while I was walking home. I guess I got it because I was sitting down in front of someone's house, tired, and although 2 friends asked the officers if they had seen me because they were simply trying to get me home, all they could say was "we'll let you know if we find someone that fits that description" although they said they could see me in the back of their vehicle. Still, they took me away and I spent the night in jail [I still cannot believe this considering I was literally 5 houses down but that's not the point].
Now my question is, can this result in a suspension of my driver's license? That is really the only thing I am worried about, I was not in a car/behind the wheel, I was only walking. AND IF SO, is there a way I can avoid this happening? I am moving to FL in a month and need to get a license there. My friend mentioned trying to get a restricted license. Any help?
