What happens if you take a class after receiving a degree? Does that grade count for anything?

I haven't found the answer to this around here yet. I have a B.A., and am taking a class at a community college right now to learn a bit more/for fun. I just got a full-time job in my field though so it's become increasingly harder to focus on the class. I don't know if I should drop with a "W" or finish it with a C or even a D.

Does a class you take after graduation affect you in the future? ie. if you went for a Master's? Would a C or bad grade be better or worse than dropping with a "W"?

A class taken after receiving a degree could be used to meet graduate admssion requirements or to meet an empoyment requirement or to receive a higher salary depending on the circumstances./
