  • Tell me where to go for a romantic meal in Dublin, over NewYear?

We are flying in on the 30th, & out on the 3rd. I did try to make a reservation at Shanahans on the green, after reading someone Else's recommendation, but they are closed over this period apparently! It needs to be, reasonably priced, great food & above all else romantic!

  • Can you reccomend the best bars in Dublin?

We are flying into Dublin on the 30th, are staying at a hotel in Cardiff lane & would love to know which bars a couple in their mid thirties should go to? In our town in Scotland, you cant even get into a bar on Hogmanay without tickets, will it be the same in Dublin? We want lively fun, but not surrounded by teenagers!

  • When you see someone you are attracted to in the street (think Lynx/impulse advert) Do you...?

Make eye contact & possibly go their direction, mayby even try to initiate conversation?

Or do you look away as soon as they catch your eye, then think about them sometimes when you pass the same spot you saw them?

Why is it in this country we get flustered and look away when someone makes eye contact? Iv done it myself in the past, looking away then kicking myself later because the guy was hot!

Iv been in a few slightly warmer climates where when you walk down the street, members of the opposite sex openly check you out, its seen as a compliment!

Do you think we should lighten up and be more open to strangers in Britain?

Iv since learnd to walk down the street smiling at people, its quite funny sometimes as people act confused as if they dont understand why you are smiling.

Do you need a reason to smile at strangers?

Are you an open flirty person? x

  • Show me who you Really are?? Make your choice....?

xxx Funniest or most interesting reply gets 10 points xxx

Ok gents, here are your choices:

Spend your time with a woman who adores you, would do anything for you, makes you laugh, interests your brain, is your best friend, is not that hot in the bedroom department?

    or

Spend your time with a woman who is hot, I mean sexy, everyone says phwor, but she is rather dull, & a bit annoying?

    Girls your choices are:

Spend your time with a man who makes your knickers moist, but never listens or cares about what you say?

    or

Spend your time with a man that gets who you are, adores you completely, but doesnt really make your kettle boil?

  • Question for Mature thinkers, Men & Womens opinions apreciated, thanks x?

Do you find that once your older 25+ making new friends is really difficult? I work from home,so don't get the chance to meet new people through a work environment, & after a certain age your friends settle down, move away or are not as available as they once were (totaly normal,I know). I find if im in a coffee shop or wherever, if I smile at someone, or ask a question, they become 'startled', like, if they dont already know you, they cant talk back? I used to be quite insecure when I was younger & hated crowds, I am still a fairly introverted person, but just sometimes it would be nice to talk with others that bring new experiences and points of view to my mind! (hence i'm on here) There seems to be loads of online 'dating' sites, but is there any other genuine way to meet likeminded people (friends) to brighten up & give more variety to your life?

  • Has any one out there had a tattoo removed? I would like to know about it,please x?

Hi guys,I have several small tattoos on my back, which I love. Unfortunatly when I went for my first ever tat I chose to have it on my arm, it was fine for the first 5 years, but for the last five I really wish I hadn't got it on my arm, it does not reflect my personality :o( Its a beautiful fine design with hardly any black as its mostly not outlined, but has red yellow, blue purple and green in it & i'v heard these colours can be difficult to remove? Was it painful to remove? I have heard its far worse than the actual tat! Are you left with a scar? Are you happy you had it removed? What do you reccomend? Help,it really bothers me.

  • Mature opinions wanted if possible? please, thank you x?

I was with my ex for 5yrs, great friends but it wasnt 'it' I broke things off & after an initial akward period we found that our friendship didnt suffer as it was over before we could hate each other. I had a fling after him, resulting in pregnancy (damm St Johns Wort!) Anyway I decided to go it alone & at 5mnths pregnant I met someone,& fell hard. We have been together for two years & I love him more than I thought possible! Now for the opinions required part,

I introduced my partner to my ex & encoraged them to go out, they have become good friends, which is great as my ex is a bit insecure. My partner got my ex fixed up with a girl on a night out and we were both really chuffed for him, but she hated me on sight. I offerd to talk to her, but she wouldnt, she just screamed & argued wth him nonstop because he regarded me as a friend & refused to stop talking to me (not even very often anyway) they broke up 3x & now he says its def over. Is it really wrong us being friends?

  • Tell me how can a man find a woman, he knows doesnt eat, attractive?

Its Sad! the fact is that she would be thinking about food 24/7,her life would revolve around food? Avoiding it & punishing herself everytime she eats? What a crap life! Would you be happy at the thought you would be with someone who is empty inside? & not just empty of food, empty of intellagence, how stupid? What about a meal out together,a trip to a theme park with candyfloss and icecream? A barlunch on a day out? Food is fun,its a nice thing, not the enemy! So,she would be skinny, skinny = reduced chances of ever conceiving and she most likely wont have any real breasts, why bother with a woman at all? wouldnt it be better to go for a boy? you get the same body without all the fuss! Shouldn't a woman be soft? By the way I am far from skinny but im not overweight either,I LOVE food x

  • Please can someone give me some tips about my first time taking a toddler on a plane?

Ok he is 17mnths and a wriggler! We have a night flight to Turkey (so about 4 hours). Have been told nappies are expensive over there & that the airline does not count nappies as part of your baggage allowance,is that correct? What about liquids, I wanted to take his milk through customs to give him on the plane, am I allowed? Should I request a particular isle or seat? I havnt got the tickets through yet, as we dont fly till the 21st June, travel advisor said he thought airline we were flying with was british midland? Any advice on how to make this as smooth as possible for everyone would be greatly appreciated x

  • Small Claims Court,How to? Should I do it? Help Me Please!?

Ok, here's the thing, a few days ago I posted a question about a hairdresser melting half my hair away,& quite a few responses told me to sue. I have been thinking about this and have decided with how upset & sick I feel about it, that I probably should. I had very thick brastrap length wavy hair, now I have roughly half that amount in varying shades of white, yellow & brown. The patchy colour isnt the problem, its all the hair I have lost! I gave full information at the start of the appointment of all previous treatments, there was no tests or warnings & she did not check the hair at any stage. She started highlighting at 1.45 and she started removing the foils at 4.40, she was the only one in the salon. What to do? How do I prove they messed up? Do I go to another hairdresser to ask if they will confirm this botch job? I have a picture taken a couple of days before. How do I start proceedings? Whats the best and most proffesional way to deal with this

  • Help Me Please? Hairdresser messed up my hair it turned to chewing gum! what can I ask her to do??

I had long thick wavy pale highlighted hair, I used a wash in red a month ago as i wanted to go back to brunette with subtle highlights and knew it would look flat if I put brown straight on. When it faded I used a light brown permanent which gave me warm brown hair,it looked & felt great, I wanted some subtle sandy blonde highlights, but the hairdresser took me to a white patchy blonde, the hair that came out when drying was like chewing gum and my roots are like cotton wool! I have obvious patches where the blonde stops so it looks like i have extensions at my crown. She said the HANDFULLS of white broken hair 'wasnt too bad' but when I got home and tried to put my hair up it feels like I have lost half my hair its so thin. She said if I wait a week she will put a semi permanent on that will improve condition and colour? A friend said to get Keristase Vita ciment and forcintense as these are the only things that will help the condition, but even on ebay these are expensive! Advice?
