sdsu transfer question?
A few years ago, I was accepted to sdsu as an incoming freshman, but i declined and chose a different university.
Now in my soph. year, I recently applied to transfer to sdsu. will my previous application to the school help or hurt my chances? or not affect it at all?
thanks
1 AnswerHigher Education (University +)1 decade agojoining a business fraternity?
im a transfer student going into my junior year.
im not a fan of the greek system, but im considering joining a coed business fraternity (Alpha kappa psi). i thought it would be good for not only my major/career opportunities, but to meet new people as well.
What are your opinions? Do you think its kinda late for me to pledge(being a third year)? there are other clubs/organizations i can join, but im just wondering if this is a good option.
thanks

Im having some trouble understanding how to:
determine where the function is not continuous. identify the type of discontinuity (removable, asymptotic, break, or endpoint). can be more than 1 discontinuity.
ex) f(x) = x^3 - 1 / x^2 -1
and/or
ex) g(x) = absolute value of x-3 / (x-3)
an explanation would be great. thanks

I know there are a few of these questions out there.
but i want an unbiased opinion on who won the debate based on what they said and who gave the best answers/rebuttals, not by their "posture" or the candidate you already support.
5 AnswersElections1 decade agoCalculus question. need a problem checked.?
take home quiz problem. not sure if i did it right.
The Volume of a large inflatable cube is decreasing at a rate of 300 cm^3/sec. When the sides are a length of 400cm, find the rate that the sides are changing.
dV=300cm^3/sec ; V=L^3 ; dL=?
dV/dL = 3L^2
dV=(dL)(3L^2)
dL= dV/3L^2
dL= 300 cm^3/sec / 3(400)^2
dL= 300cm^3/sec / 480000
thanks
