  • Why reward the Jersey Shore cast for breach of contract?

The cried and said they deserved more money and wouldn't shoot any more episodes. Wouldn't they be in breach of contract and end up having to pay the production company? Why would the production company actually pay these guys more money before the contract was up? To the cast of Jersey Shore, a contract is a contract.. if you didn't like the terms, why did you sign it in the first place? Live with it until the contract is up and then you can renegotiate. To the production company, You shouldn't have paid these people more money, if anything they owe you money for not performing as they are contracted to do.

Do you think the Jersey Shore should have received a raise? I liked the first season, but do not think they should as legally they should ride out their contract as it stands.

  • Would any of you want to see Kurt Angle In a MMA organization?

I figure that out of all the professional wrestlers Kurt Angle always stuck out in my mind as someone that, if they were going to transfer over to MMA, would be a great pick, he is already an accomplished olympic gold medal winner in wrestling, just like a lot of MMA champions of different organizations. With some Martial Arts training, I believe he could make a big impact, just as at least one of his ex-WWE counterparts has, though I am no fan of Brock.

there were a few others such as one of the most technical wrestlers, Chris Benoit (but we all know what happened to him), Brett Hart (Owen too, but..) since their dad taught their whole family catch wrestling, which was then adapted for the staged WWE, and Dean Malenko, who was also a very talented and technical wrestler..if not very popular. I think if these wrestlers had adopted some other Martial Arts they would've been or could be (Brett and Dean, age permitting) a great threat inside the cage.

What are your thoughts.. and do you have any other professional wrestlers that you think would make it in the MMA world, with or without extra training?

  • Should Americans be able to fire White House staff that act unprofessional?

Whether you're for or against Obama, one thing everyone should be able to agree on is the antics of the White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs are getting ridiculous. He shrugs off questions with lame jokes, spent more time talking about the search for a dog for Sasha and Malia than actually answering press questions at the time, and now he mocks Sarah Palin for writing notes on her hand. What concerns me is that it isn't his job to commentate. It isn't his job to be a pundit. His job is to report the daily updates of the administration and other White House activities.

I believe that while the White House Press Secretaries have good sense of humors before and made some humorous comments, Robert Gibbs has acted just very unprofessional. I would think that there are many more citizens who agree with me. Are American's able to fire or ask for the resignation of a cabinet member or is it ultimately up to the President and or congress to make that call? And if America cannot, do you think they should? Thank You for you input in advance.

  • Can we even take NOW seriously anymore?

The National Organization of Women lambasted the "controversial" tim tebow commercial cause he fake tackled his mother, but they said nothing about the Go Daddy commercials that showed women in nothing but a sexualized light, and when a backyard football player tackled Betty White and she said something disrespecting a guys girlfriend as well..

Seriously, if they dog one issue that isn't even an issue, and ignore the issues that reflect their usual social beliefs, how can anyone take them seriously anymore?

  • Why does the city of New Orleans still expect the government to give them new homes?

i was watching the super bowl pregame show and had to wonder why is New Orleans still asking for government help for Katrina? this one guy was blaming the government for not buying him a new house or doing anything to help him.. but isn't one supposed to have flood insurance if they live in a known hurricane zone/flood plain, is it the duty of the government to just hand out houses and other property just because someone did not have the proper insurance, if a tree falls on my new car, but I did not have the proper comprehensive insurance required to replace a vehicle, can I hold the government responsible for giving me a new car later on.. from what I understood the government gave out provisions and debit cards to help them get going and a leg up.. they could have moved and worked on building their houses back up from their new house with a new job.

I guess I just don't think it is fair that people can blame the government instead of getting themselves out of a situation they got themselves into.. I am sorry their houses were flooded and even if they had grabbed the FEMA busses offered before the hurricane hit, there houses would've been flooded and other such damages could've happened, but they also were not fully insured and covered for those disasters like they should've been to demand more help...even Haiti is not getting new houses handed to them..

These are my thoughts and opinions, and most New Orleans citizens were tax payers like me, but even as tax payers there are certain obligations I have to help myself prepare for a natural disaster cause I know the government won't hand me a brand new shiny life. why do they feel they deserve to get one handed to them, especially since there are others suffering around the USA that don't have legit help that isn't covered under any insurance plan?

  • What if America just decided to stop caring about other countries?

Here is why I ask this.. the world seems to think that America is out for itself and shouldn't have bases all over the world or protect those who cannot protect themselves. Now with our own economic collapse possibly looming we are on the forefront of helping Haiti with almost ten times more money given in the past, and now, than any other country (except the world bank which matched us).. we helped in the aftermath of the tsunami in south Asia, we stopped Iraq from getting Kuwait which would've upped their stranglehold on the middle east oil, which every country gets oil from..

and last but not least what if we just let countries like Iraq, Iran, venezuala, Russia and others take over other countries, build nuclear weapons and have free reign.. I mean Russia just tried to invade Georgia and for once the UN came in handy, but that is one example in the past 70 years or more.. I am sorry this is long, but do people NOT realize that our military provides extra income, jobs and security for those countries that we have bases in? do people not realize that if we did not help south Asia or Haiti (many times in the past with troops or money) these countries would be in more ruins than they are now, and did we get anything in return? no, these countries were too poor to help us during Katrina or Andrew or 9/11 or the hurricane season in which Florida was hit by 4 hurricanes.

All I am asking is that for all we do for the world, what if we decided to stop and only care about our own and ourselves..would the world beat down our door asking for help? or would everything be rainbows and puppies and love would encircle the globe?

  • What do you think of the UFC diversifying itself and starting a Poker site?

I'm all for businesses growing, and making profits, that's what business is for. What concerns me is that they are jumping into every fad that comes along... I know it worked for MMA, but poker although big, i do not see the demand for it as there used to be. I am also kinda concerned about this trend, pertaining to unforeseen fads in the future.

    What are your thoughts?
