Did he mean that God never worried about whether they could understand the world, or that God tried hard to make it difficult for them to understand the world?

If there is no attractive exercise available for your Japanese-English translation training, you might as well think out a question you find interesting.
Placing your final comment as a model answer when you choose the best answer, however, might be something to deny the whole effort of the one who has managed to answer your passion.
