I'm trying to remember the name of a movie I saw, made within the last ten years or so, about a psychiatrist who denies one of her patient's release, then kidnaps her, her husband and sister in a cabin. Sound familiar to anyone?

ie: a pride of lions, a parliament of owls, a smack of jellyfish, etc. is there any rationale behind it?

I have a bug out bag as well as a car emergency kit in my car, both with emergency candles, but have found they have been melting together in the heat. Any tips on how to store emergency candles in a hot car?

I have an opportunity to spend several months training with a colleague who's a Shotokan instructor before she moves out of state (which is why it will have to be "short term"); I have trained a number of styles (judo, goju-ryu, wrestling, some aikido, bjj, mma) and I would like to make the most of this opportunity to learn some things to help round my skills out. What would be some aspects to focus on which would complement other styles?

I have done some aikido training in the past, and I'm aware of the historical connections between the two; I am looking for some specific technical differences between the two, as well as similarities (eg. strikes/atemi, ground grappling, stances, training philosophies, etc)

In studying Spanish, I have found that both "lips" and "labia" are seem to be translated as "los labios", which seems to me to be a setup for some awkward misunderstandings. Is there some difference I'm missing, or is it context, or should I just expect to get slapped from time to time?

I've been having trouble visualizing the inner workings of video rental kiosks. How are the disks stored? How are they loaded into the cases? How many disks can they hold? How are they returned?

I can't help but notice a lot of these questions seem like homework exercises from school for math, science, etc. more than just curiosity or genuine interest. Doesn't it kind of defeat the purpose if these kids get their answers from here, rather than trying to figure it out for themselves?

In the book he's said to be twice as tall as a normal man, with hands the size of trash can lids, a handkerchief the size of a table cloth, etc. That would make him impractically large, around 12 feet, but he's significantly smaller than Grawp, who's 16 feet tall. Is it a Paul Bunyan thing, where it's exaggeration for the sake of storytelling, with no real consistency? Or has someone actually figured it out?

I have heard thatone can watch the Wizard of Oz while listening to Dark Side of the Moon, and it will sync up perfectly. Naturally, I have nothing better to do than try it out myself. I'm just wondering, at what point to start the music. For example, at what part of the movie should you hit play on a cd player?

Ever get invites to be friends with someone you don't recognize? Some are clearly fake people, but from time to time I'll get a real person who I don't recognize, but am hesistant to just ask "who the heck are you?", and sometimes can't figure it out just from info on their profile. Any clever tactful ways of finding out how the person know you, or if they're just confusing you with someon eelse?
