At my old job, client records were kept in a book. This was outdated and hard when it came to searching for client info. I transfered that information into Excel for better organization and easier access. How can I put that into words for a resume?

After a year and 6 months of working for a company and having 2 major responsibilities, I was "promoted" to a higher position. I did not ask about a salary increase then because I wanted to master the position and feel confident before doing so. After 3 months I mastered it and was "doing great" as my boss put it. I asked for an increase and was told I was still on a "probational period" and that I had alot of latenesses. OK, my attendance improved and 3 more months went by I asked again and was told my department was doing bad.I made sure I did everything I could to improve the situation I was asked for a summary of my responsibilities and a little more time for the owner of the company. I went from 2 to 22 major responsibilites, I do most of the work and I do a great job. When I went back and asked again I was told that they were thinking of cutting back personnel and that a raise was not possible at the moment because things were so slow. I started looking for a new job and Im pretty disappointed my hard work did not pay off. Im sure my boss will keep giving me more responsibilities since Im the one who does everything in my department, when that happens, can I ask her what do I look like to her? since they have the audacity, the gall to ask me to do more work after being told I wont be compensated? I really don't care for this place anymore, I feel as if I'm being disrespected and I wouldnt mind being let go that way I can go to school full time while I find another job.

I've been working for a company since July 2012, I was paid an hourly rate for aproximately 6 months. After that I was put on a salary of 22,000 a year Im confused as to what my tittle was as I was supposed to be a case manager but was assign the task of processing billing. On Oct 2013 I was offered a higher position, evaluations intake coordinator, which is a lot more work and with way more responsibilities. It was to be sort of a probational period until I got the hang of it. I never discussed a raise because I wanted to feel confident enough with the position and learn the job before asking for a raise. After 3 months of becoming great at work (my boss's words) I went and asked for a raise. I was told I hadn't gotten the raise before because I was being tried out and that my last performance review showed many absences and lateness and many of the things they had nicely agreed to allow me to do suddenly became a problem (asking to leave early to pick up my child on time) mind you I was never reprimanded or written up for these crimes, everyone pretty much does what they want there so I guess I took advantage. I said fair enough. I then asked when can I come back to ask for a raise I was told in March. I have since improved Im not late or absent anymore and it is now May and they still have not given me a raise. My problem is I feel as if Im being used for cheap labor and if they had a problem with me before why does it come up until I ask for a raise?

I am an introvert, I am set in my ways and I'm happy with who I am. Last year my mother moved in with me from another country she's began working and will eventually move out. My problem is this my mother is 49, single and the total opposite of me. She enjoys people, get togethers, talking for long hours (about the same ****) and going out etc. Since she's new to nyc she has only 3 friends from back home and is constantly talking about going out, drinking and mingling. I feel like a damn tour guide already, Its been 6 months I showed her around I would love to enjoy my weekend off by sleeping till I feel like, going out when Im ready to getting up early to paint her toe nails( yup!) do her hair, and having her keep asking me if im going out and when ( just so she can tag along). Smh also, whenever I go out she asks where im going? ( to the friggin store!) to buy what(yup) and she even asked my husband where he's coming from. Asks me where he is going its never ending. I love my mother, im thankful for her and blessed to have her but its making me resent her. Sometimes I just want to be left alone. She calls me boring ( I resent that!!) Some one help me look on the bright side!!!

I am a single mother of 2 and unemployed. I am fresh out of an abusive relationship and have $300 dollars to my name. I know ill eventually have to file for child support, but for now, I need money for the bills and to continue looking for work. I know this was not the best time to leave a relationship, but it was now or never. (Serious answers pls!) + ( don't judge me)

I want them to see everything else except the fact that I'm friends with someone.

My husband of ten years had an affair with a woman a year ago. My mother in law knew about it and knew the woman. Apparently my mil told the mistress she wouldn't accept her as his woman only as his "friend" and allowed the mistress to visit her house and basically hang out with the whole family. My mother in law and I had never had any problems b4 this and we had a good relationship. When I found everything out I asked her about it and she told me not to involve her in anything. I am not excusing my husband at all. It was him who messed up but now the only relationship I have w my mil is because of the kids. I am cordial and would never disrespect her, but I feel disrespected because she enabled this. Am I in the wrong?

My partner of 10 years cheated on me. We got back together but I told him it is not definite and I am going to try to get to the place where I was before. I dont feel like im in love anymore and I question anything he tells me. I wonder if the relationship can be saved. (We have two children, and please, serious answers from people who've been in a similar situation)

3 weeks ago I went for a job interview at Sephora. It all went well and I was told I would get a response within 48 hours. I did not get a call. A week later I call the interviewer to follow up and she told me they hadn't gotten around the office blah blah, to wait a week. Now two weeks have passed and still no answer. I dont want to be pushy but I really really need this job. Its a new store, it opens October 21.

I've been looking for work for the past six months both in person and online. My resume is good I have cover letters experienced and no luck. Im starting to loose my patience here in NYC :-/

your mother in law was receiving mothers day flowers from your husbands mistress and allowing her to visit her house? knowing that the mistress is trying to win territory. ( Her stance is "Dont involve me") knowing that the mistress has caused problems in your marriage before?

I have two younger cousins. As soon as one of them see my baby she starts taking pics of her and then uploads them on facebook. I asked her not to do that and she took them down. Today her sister (my other cousin) made my baby's pic her profile picture!! Wtf who does that? I believe you should not put pics of other ppls kids on the net, that's for me and whomever I allow to do!! Am I the psycho here? Im confused and don't want to seem mean that's all. Just because I wouldn't do that!!

I have been in a "commited" relationship for 10yrs and have a 9yr old and a 17mos old with my partner. Last October I found out he had been having an affair since June. I confronted him and he said it was a mistake and he wanted to be with me. I confronted her and she told me that they didnt have anything to do with each other and to fix my problems with him and that she would disappear from our lives.He deleted her from his facebook and called her in front of me to end things for good. Two days ago I found out they have been emailing since January maybe before and she has sent him graphic pics of herself her vagina and her breasts (she has a man, mind u) I read emails from her husband to my boyfriend pleading for him to tell him the truth saying he was suffering and to put himself in his shoes. My coward boyfriend giving him advice and denying everything. Well I made a facebook page with her nasty pics and requested her whole town her friends and family, my boyfriends friends and family (whom all knew what was going on) her school, well everyone. No one knows its me except for her and my boyfriend and his family. I feel awful all this is happening, I already kicked his *** to the curve. But i feel I gave him and her plenty of chances to stay together and live their life. I know the fb page doesnt fix anything but it feels good to know everyone has seen her for the slut she is!! should I delete the page already? fb kicked me out for lewd pics but i opened one again today and did the same thing. I feel she should call me and confront me as a woman. i know im wrong and feel guilty but I gave them a chance to walk away clean. I feel like crap :(

Im free this summer. i just had a baby and Im home all the time while the baby sleeps. Instead of letting time go by, i would like to earn money. From monday to friday.
