I'm a teacher and I have to teach this subject to my grade 5/6 class. I know the Fur Trade was one interaction but I'd like to know what specifically happened. Are there any resources online or otherwise that I could use for my research?

I've read Jane Austen before, but it was mostly in school. Since I'm not finished, I'd like to try her again. I'd just like some advice on which of her novels to try again first.

I know about coursera.org and I'm in a science fiction and fantasy course there. I was curious as to whether or not there are more online somewhere.

I'm a recent graduate of English literature and I'm interested in doing more and learning more about the subject.

I mostly like dramas, historical films, book-to-film adaptations, anything to do with familial relations and animation. My favourites films are the Harry Potter series, Lord of the Rings Series, Prince of Egypt, Freedom Writers, Toy Story (1, 2 and 3), Up and The Family Stone. I'm particularly looking for some new Disney or Pixar films, but anything will do.

I like Grey's Anatomy, Once Upon a Time, Big Brother, Degrassi, Modern Family, Reba, Brothers and Sisters, Lost and Desperate Housewives.

I took a class on the Romantic era this year and I really enjoyed it! I was hoping to read more novels in that time period - we already read Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen, The Mysteries of Udolpho by Ann Radcliffe, Frankenstein by Mary Shelley and Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte. I was just wondering: which other novelists should I read from this period? Thanks!!

Don't suggest Twilight - I've read them and they're pretty horrible, imo. I really like Anne Rice's Interview with a Vampire so far. Any other vampire novel suggestions? How about novels with just werewolves in them?

I'm discussing race in his stories for my research essay. I've chosen The Black Cat. I'd like to know others that have race as a theme; I'd like at least one other story or maybe even two. Thanks!

I'm going to a Japanese restaurant for the first time on Monday. I would really like to avoid sushi or anything raw. I've heard the stories about food poisoning and I'd like to not get it. Thanks. Maybe I'm wrong about that stuff though? Anyways, what are your suggestions?

I haven't really seen any old movies dating before like 1990. I would really like some suggestions on films you've enjoyed - maybe some academy award nominated films - from the late 1900s.

I know there's Edgar Allan Poe and I'm already doing his short stories/poems. However, I wanted to choose another writer to compliment him. I was hoping to get some ideas on here.

I have read The Hunger Games Trilogy as well as Cassandra Clare's City of Bones Trilogy. I know about Clockwork Angel, Clare's next novel, but I want to read something in between now and then. Any recommendations? Something dark and twisty, I'm not a big fan of pure romance (Sarah Dessen, etc).
