It was dinner time, about to queue up to go back into to class, when another child tried to get my son to play with a tennis 'bat' (I say bat, because it is one of those solid plastic things and not a racket), but my son ignored him and walked away.

The other child was following behind him and the next thing my son can remember is blood pouring from a head wound and begging the other child to get help (he was too busy apologising so he wouldn't get in trouble).

I work in school, so when my son had gone inside with a dinner lady, she came to get me and told me of the 'tiny' cut on his head. I went to see him, he had a 1 inch vertical gash, about 1/4 of an inch wide open, right between his eyebrows.

Everybody at school knows I don't drive, yet I wasn't offered a lift or ambulance. I would have thought an ambulance would have been appropriate with a head injury. I had to phone a taxi myself to the hospital unaccompanied.

The other child has gotten away with it because my son can't remember it happen, but my son had to endure pain, being terrified of stitches in hospital and now scarred for life. The other child's parent haven't even approached me to ask how my son is!

What should I do next? I have thought about suing, even just for the amount it would take to remove scar tissue when he is old enough (he is 11, was 10 when it happened 4 weeks ago). The scarring is quite bad as it was so swollen when the nurse glued and steri-stripped it, it wouldn't close tightly enough. The only thing making it difficult to sue, is me working there.

I want one for my son for xmas. So my other half has gone and told one of his mates he will buy one from him (he just happens to have one at the right time going for £50). £50, does that sound too cheap? I wanted a new one, but probably gonna be stuck with this one now, so I want as much info as I can get. Has there only ever been one version or have they updated them? Is there a way to tell if its been use or how much? Is there anyway I can find out how old it is? Is there anyway I can find out if it has been broken? If all else fails, how much could I sell it for?

Ok, well it actually my sons. He has tried logging in with no joy. It says his email address isn't connected to an account. He hasn't deactivated it, and he was only on it 2 days ago. I've gone through the options in the help section but its no use. I cant find him on mine, so its not a case of mixed up email/password, besides he only has one email and we know its definitly that to log in. On one section of the help pages after putting in his email, it says his account is deactivated, but everywhere else it says the email isn't connected. He hasn't violated rules etc.

The only thing I can think of is he clicked a link (that no-one else seems to have had a problem with) to a Gears Of War 3 cog codes page that wanted to access his Facebook, so maybe this has done something to violate rules, he doesn't know because he didn't check his profile after using this page.

Does Facebook have a 'contact us'? Because I can't find one but it would be so much easier sorting it out if I could 'talk' to somebody.

I have a problem even Microsoft have been unable to sort for me. It involves not being able to connect to a register server, so they think I have something missing or corrupt They have told me to re-install vista. So Ive been to the manufacturer website to find out what to do. Vista was pre-installed and the laptop didnt come with the disk, instead its built in so I have to completely format the laptop using their instructions to re-install all the original features.

So, I need to know, How can I save all my files, and even my programs if possible, so that when Ive reset everything I can just get my laptop running back to how it was? Thanks.

From the beginning... everything was fine then I decided to install IE9, stupidly thinking it would be faster etc, than IE8. I was wrong and ever since it has been virtually unusable, crashing, not playing videos, not changing page, the list goes on. Ive managed to uninstall the IE9 update, so taking me back to IE8, but I cant use anything that uses java, my sideber has been corrupt and generally my laptop is slow. Ive tried all kinds of things and think Ive found the cause. When I go on Command prompt (as administrator), the only command that wont work is C:\Windows\system32>regsvr32 jscript.dll. Ive been searching the internet for answers but cant find the right thing. Ive tried allsorts but nothing works.

I just keep getting a little window that says, 'The module "jscript" was loaded but the call to DllRegisterServer failed with error code 0x80004005. vbscript works... I am using Vista32.

I finally found a copy that still says i will get the beta (at coolshop), but I dont have a code. I only ordered it this morning but surely I should still get a code? Has anyone got theirs yet? Is anyone on, but not using the Bulletstorm code?

I tried Game but they dont have any codes left... Tried everywhere online but cant find any that clearly state that you can get beta if pre-ordering.

I need a shop that will be open tomorrow, and of course the cheapest! Thanks.

PS. I know tesco is cheapest online at £25, but they usually have a different price instore.

I can log in, but cant open any mail, cant delete and cant send. Do I need to do something with the settings? I can access my email on other browsers. Thanks.

Mine keeps freezing, completely, I can even get back to the dashboard. So I either get it repaired or get a new one. I want to keep all my saves (some you cant transfer), so I dont want the new one. I dont need a hard drive, I checked that and its fine. Just the console, or a repair. How much is a repair through Microsoft? If I got it repaired by a third party, would Microsoft ever touch it again?

Its happening every day at the moment. Usually when Im in a game, whether its a disk (like COD or something), or a marketplace game. I just need to know if theres something I can do, like a hard drive cleaner, or defragmenter or something. I dont wanna send it off to microsoft and be without it for ages. Is there a website I can use for troubleshooting, Ive tried the Xbox webites troubleshooting, but its basic. Please help.

Ive been playing zombies and seen loads of modders on there so I thought Id try to get one of my own to play privately at home with friends. I have an offline profile to do this on and have already put the modded map onto the profile, but now I dont know how to activate it to use it in a game. To all the haters, Im doing this simply for me and my friends on my offline profile, not online. I wouldnt go online with it and risk getting banned anyway.

My 9 year old son broke his nose at a party on halloween, but on doctors advice had to wait several weeks for a proper diagnosis because of the swelling. As his mum, of course I could tell straight away, but have to wait for a professional opinion as they didnt want to do an xray on his face. It looks as though it has been squashed from the front and he now has a bit of a 'boney' structure on the left side of his nose from the break. The nasal surgeon we saw said he could operate by 'pinching the inside of his nose' and basically lifting it back into place, but he doesnt want to do this as my son is still young and growing and doesnt want to put him through an operation that may not be necessary. I still worry of any 'knock on' effects, like the 'boney' structure (will it cause any problems). He also now has a deviated septum, will this cause any problems? When I took him to see the surgeon, there were no tests just a look at his nose, no xrays etc. Am I right to worry?

I have to get 2 copies. I have pre ordered 1, but last time I pre ordered 2 copies of a game (Modern Warfare 2), I found it cheaper on the day. I dont want to get stung again, so Im trying to find out if any stores (like Sainsburys £26 MW2), will be doing a good deal? Someone out there must have some leaked info?!

Well its my sons, and he was just playing on call of duty world at war, on nazi zombies. This random guy was in his lobby and the two of them started the game. Suddenly (im not sure how, I wasnt watching) the other guy started 'ranking him up'. The guy got my son a 10th prestige, but Im worried this guy could hack into info from my sons xbox. My credit card details are on there. Or do you think my son just happened to drop into a lobby by chance? I know a lot of these things are hosted, but he's naver dropped into one before. Should I contact xbox?

It wants access to the registry key but I dont know how.

I have the cable, and taken the hard drive off the xbox. Plugged the cable into the hard drive and connected the usb end to the laptop. In the tray of the laptop it shows that a usb is connected but if I load up 'computer', where it shows the internal hard drives and anything connected, the xbox hard drive isnt there. What am I doing wrong? Do I need a program of some kind?
