Help with problem! (Top Down Design)?
I am to create a Top-Down Design but am struggling with evaluating which are the main points with the information provided.
The Problem is as follows:
You are to design a box office application. We'll assume a multi screen movie theater. Your application should handle transactions.
A single transaction is a client choosing a single movie, buying tickets for any number of people. The prices for the tickets can vary. Senior citizens always pay the same price. A matinee price is for a movie that shows prior to 6pm. A matinee price is the same for everyone. It is the senior citizen price. There is a regular child and adult price.
You will also need to keep track of daily totals-adults, children, seniors, matinee, and for each movie. Assume no more than 12 different movies at one time.
*I am taking my first course in Computer Programming, but I am struggling because in the textbook we have it does not show examples and very briefly describes it.
I would like if someone can help so I can get a better grasp of designing Top Down Designs.
*Any information would be highly appreciated! If you can post examples of other Top Down Designs that too would be highly appreciated*

5 AnswersMathematics1 decade agoShould I demand answers from my school on why i failed a class?
well i'm a junior going on senior year. my schedule for next year has already been set and its pretty laid back thanks to my councler, but when i recieved my grades through the mail, i find i failed algebra 2 because of final exams (even though my grades were B+ during second semester). I took the test and was comfortable with my answers, but what i dont understand is why it comes up, on record, as if i did not take the test and was unexcused from it. I'm ready to go out to school on monday when their offices are open and demand an explanation.
That's where my question comes into play. Should i demand answers from my school on why i failed my class because of a possible error? or should i just let it pass by and see how it affects me next year?
