I broke my glasses? What do I do?
The arm snapped off and I tried to glue it back together but it fell apart again, so now there's glue all over the hinge. The glasses are pretty new and I don't know what to tell my parents.
Would there be a way to fix them still?

1 AnswerBooks & Authors8 years agoEvery time I send an application for a dog it gets adopted?
I'm pissed off.
I have sent tons of dog applications into dog rescues and about 3 weeks later I hear back saying "Sorry this dog has found their forever home" I mean I honestly sent an application the same day the dog was put up for adoption and it was too late. Why do you think that is?
Urgh.

9 AnswersDogs8 years agoIs $400 dollars for a Goldenretriever Poodle mix reasonable?
I know some people consider them mutts and overpriced and hyped up ect. BUT I love the breed Golden Retriever although the excessive shedding isn't as great
So would $400 be considered reasonable for an 8 week old F1 Goldendoodle puppy?

Here's an excerpt: (Basically just my writing style)
Alex trudged alone up the low rise of the hill, hearing the shouts of the Frisbee players in the Sheep Meadow behind him, like distant music. It was a bright November day, crisp and windy, the sun lighting what remained of the leaves on the trees to brilliant shades of scarlet, gold, and amber. The top of the hill was strewn with boulders. You could see how the park had been hacked out of what had once been a wilderness of trees and stone. Anna sat atop one of the boulders, wearing a long dress of bottle-green silk with an embroidered black and silver coat over it. She looked up as Alex strode toward her, pushing her long, dark hair out of her face. “I thought you’d be with Iz,” she said as he drew closer. “Where is she?”
“Leaving the hotel,” he said, sitting down next to Anna on the rock and shoving his hands into his Windbreaker pockets.
“She texted. She’ll be here soon.”
“Max’s on his way—,” she began, and broke off as his pocket buzzed. Or, more accurately, the phone in his pocket buzzed. “I think someone’s messaging you.” He shrugged. “I’ll check it later.”She gave him a look from under her long eyelashes. “Anyway, I was saying, Max’s on his way too. He had to come all the way from Brooklyn, so—” Alex’s phone buzzed again.“All right, that’s it. If you’re not getting it, I will.” Anna leaned forward, against Alex’s protests, and slipped her hand into his pocket. The top of her head brushed his chin. He smelled her perfume—vanilla—and the scent of her skin underneath. When she pulled the phone out and drew back, he was both relieved and disappointed. She squinted at the screen. “Sarah? Who’s Sarah?”
“My sister.” Anna’s body relaxed. “She wants to meet you. She says she hasn’t seen you since—”

“I’m sorry for your loss, it must be hard to lose the one who raised you, ” said the funeral home director shaking his head, his dark brown locks falling over his eyes, faking his sympathy, it was almost as fake as the loss.
She nodded. “Thank You,” Fake gratitude. “I’ll really miss Aunt Claire.”
“Well you should probably be heading back to your apartment, you may need to pack up, you only have until tomorrow as your flight leaves at 7, correct?” His voice was cold, and the way he checked his watch every couple seconds told her he was ready for her to leave. She nodded again.
“Well thanks.” She turned to leave, thankfully the door was only a few feet away.
“Oh and Ms. Carlisle,” She stopped walking, turning towards the dark skinned man. “Good luck.”
********************
The flight was horrible; there was plenty of turbulence, the plane was bouncing through the air. Several people around her had their heads inside a barf bag. She however, did not feel sick in the least, she never did. Despite the lack of nausea she did feel very on edge, she hadn’t been able to get up and move for 12 hours, excluding the short trip to the lavatory.
Despite having nothing to do on the flight she felt preoccupied, replaying her Aunt’s last words in her mind. Aunt Claire had never been kind towards her. But on her death bed, the seventeen years of refusing to love changed.
Joni had just woken up, and was heading downstairs to make her aunt breakfast, as usual.
“Joni! Come into my room,” Her voice sounded weak, but Joni had been too shocked that Claire had given in to calling her Joni rather than Johanna -which seemed to feminine for Joni’s personality- to notice.
“Yes?” As Joni walked into her bedroom she noticed that Aunt Claire’s face was unnaturally pale, even paler than Joni herself. Her light hair seemed to be falling out, and her body was shrivelling up. Joni gaped at the sight.
“I’m very sick, if you have not already noticed, Joni.” She chuckled humourlessly, which led to a dry coughing fit. “This means it’s time, you must leave London,” Aunt Claire announced, voice crackling with an unexpected smile.
“What’s happening? Aunt Claire, don’t worry I’ll call 99-“Aunt Claire shook her head, solemnly, interrupting Joni’s frantic rambling.
“Joni, please. None of that will help, this is meant to happen, it’s good. Please just listen, sweetie.” Her voice was quiet, almost calming, it had sent a chill down Joni’s back. Who would had thought her Aunt had become suicidal? “Take a flight to, a week from now to Phoenix Arizona, from there you will find out the truth.” She looked as if she wanted to say more but she was already fading away, her eyes becoming clear and glassy. “Aunt Claire, please, what’s going on? The truth about what, please let me call the doctor, please.” Joni demanded suddenly wishing for the wellbeing of her Aunt. The women who didn’t allow her to have friends, the women who didn’t let her leave the house for anything but school her entire life. As Joni brushed her thumb against her Aunt’s cheek, she heard her whisper, “It’s too late,” than she heard her Aunt say something she had never her utter before,
“I love you”
Minutes later she heard it again, only this time in her own voice. Wiping the tears off her face Joni became determined. She would grant her Aunt’s wishes and go to Arizona find out the truth, whatever it was.
She sighed with relief as the Pilot announced the arrival from London, England to Phoenix Arizona, USA; and the plane landed with a thud, the planes wheels rolling hard against the asphalt. Finally she allowed move around, and discover what had happened to Aunt Claire, her quick death, and the truth she spoke of.
After going through customs and grabbing her bag Joni pushed through the door into the Lobby of the airport, that’s when she saw him. His hair was brown, and looked in need of a haircut as it was growing past his ears. His skin was olive toned; Joni noticed that he was very well built, muscles roping around his arms. But there was something that stood out a little more than the way all the girls in the lobby of the airport gawked over him and the scowl set upon his face, just one. He was holding up a sign with one word written on it, Carlisle.
Chapter 2.
She gasped. Surely someone else could be named Carlisle, but that’s when he started a fast pace towards her, frozen she tried to think of reasonable explanations as for why this boy had been expecting her, the only one she could think of was he had her mistaken for someone else, but even that had been disproven when he reached her.
“Hello, Johanna.” The boy said, once he was within a foot of her. Now that he was up close she noticed that something flawing his perfect skin. A thick, pale scar, stretching from above is left eyebrow, narrowly missing his dark green eyes, and thinning to his perfectly shaped jaw bone.
4 AnswersBooks & Authors9 years agoMy Hair NEVER Gets Greasy?
Well after a week of not washing it gets as greasy as most people's hair gets after 3 days.
We had an overweek school trip.
I washed my hair the Sunday before we left, and then we got back on Friday.
I was BUSY as hell and didn't wash it.
(Just washed body not hair)
My hair is the tiniest bit greasy.
When does your hair get oily and gross?
I just am kinda happy because my hair stayed straight all week without getting gross,
(I have curly hair naturally)
So what about you?
