It is generally thought that a really severe, life-threatening disease will be associated with a disease-causing organism that has only recently (in evolutionary time) "moved in" to this species of host- after long association, over several generations, it's expected that the disease organism will be less likely to make the host really sick. This obviously is an advangtage to the host but how is it an advangtage to the disease organism?

My mom just told me that the guy who i've known as my father for 15 yrs is not my real father and to top it all off she laughed when she thought i was sad. so much for being there for me

I have a twin sister and she's always been known by my mom 2 be the more trustworthy1. The thing is she seems 2 think that im hiding from her if im in the room but hey it needs cleaning sometimes. to make my life hell she hasnt allowed me to leave the house in 2 weeks b/c apparently i dont talk 2 her enough and dont show her respect. oh yeah and 2 punish me she made me make her a rather large batch of cookies(can u say weird)i just dont know what 2 do, somedays she treats me great then the next she says she doesn't want me anymore. She says im the problem but i think its her- what do u think?

Sometimes this guy would do irritating things 2 me but I couldn't tell if he was just fooling around. he would kick me in the back of my legs, push me, growl or yell in my face(weird), and make really lame jokes. But the thing is other than that he never talked to me which is why I'm confused. Don't get me wrong it's not like the guy is a freak and I want to get rid of him b/c he's really cute and I would definitely go out with him. I just don't want to get the wrong idea and go for something that I can't have. First of all he's 2 1/2 yrs. older and he's really popular, and I second guess if he'd be talking 2 ME. Oh yeah and in my yearbook he totally sounded like he was interested in me, but he also has a great sense of humor.
